1. Import location information from ArchivesSpace in requests received by other external systems.

   If a request is received in Aeon from a system that is not the system of record like ArchivesSpace, auto retrieve the matching record ArchivesSpace location and update the Aeon request. Sometimes external systems are not updated real time and the location may have changed. This would prevent staff going to retrieve items in the wrong location and then needing to do detective work to find the correct location in ASpace and retrieve again.

2. Aeon - ArchivesSpace Fulfillment Plugin - import digital object info

   The University of Arkansas would like to know if a requested ArchivesSpace component has a digital object instance. This would help with reproduction requests so that staff know when a reproduction already exists. They would like for the plugin to be able to import this info into the Aeon request record.

   As part of the updated ArchivesSpace Fulfillment Plugin released with Aeon 5.2, the following mapping has been added:

   
   

   digital_objects

   • semi-colon (;) separated string list
   • contains the IDs of all digital objects associated with the record.

   Create customizable catalog search addon for Primo VE, and make available in Addon directory.

   A supported plugin has been available for a few years, however a new version will be released shortly with added support for WebView2, as added to Aeon 5.2
