    Having patron status provided by the authentication method would reduce library staff effort. They wouldn't necessarily have to use an independent directory or tool to verify that a patron is eligible to become an instructor. They could trust the status in the Ares user record to determine that. It's not automatic, but it does eliminate work. Thanks!
