  1. Duplicate courses can be created unintentially from the CourseValidation table

    When creating a course through the Course Validation, if an instructor clicks the back button in the browser after adding a course, then clicks the Add Course button again a duplicate course would be created from the same record.

  2. Web Alert Validation Inconsistency

    It is possible to save a Username alert with no Username.
    Selecting the Status type does not supply a default Specifier, but selecting Type does supply one.

  3. LoanPeriod and PickupLocation fields are hidden on the Reserve Item Request Form

    See the image below for an example.

    Workaround: The workaround for this is to make sure the #LoanPeriodDiv only contains the #OPTION tag, making sure that all of the surrounding HTML is contained within the #OPTION tag's headerText and footerText properties.

  4. When cloning an item in the web, routing rules are not applied when the new item's final status is set

    For example, changing an item's status from CurrentStatus to PendingActivation will not apply any rules which also prevents any custom routing rules from being applied to items cloned from this item.

  5. Cloning course items in the web does not provide a username entry for the new item's first history entry

    In the web, clone a course and select at least one item. When viewing the item history for the newly cloned item, the first entry 'Status changed to Item Submitted via Cloned Course' will have an empty string for the username.

  7. Brightspace LTI Vulnerability

    A vulnerability was discovered in the LTI standard that allows people to construct a link which uses the attacker's session and could trick a user into performing actions with the attacker's identity. Atlas is working with Brightspace to ensure Ares accommodates any functional changes Brightspace will be making to combat this vulnerability.

  9. LTI Content Item Selection Request in Moodle does not appear on the first load

    Workaround: Redirecting back and forth by clicking another tab will make the button appear since it will prompt the buttons populated on the LTIContentItem.js to become visible in the frame.

  10. The non-breaking space value   is rendered on the webpage instead of the space

    Workaround: See https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011824714 for instructions on fixing the non-breaking space in the include_defaultcourseinfo.html, UCourseInfo.html, and UCourseTags.html pages.

  11. The OrderBy #TABLE attribute does not work for many item-related tables.

    Most of the table builder functions we have in the web DLL support an 'OrderBy' to specify the default sorting parameters. However, four item-related tables, Item, ItemNotes, ItemTracking, and ItemHistory, do not apply OrderBy attributes specified in table tags.
