Just to make sure that I'm on the same page with you, are you thinking that this would just be an additional ID field that could then be used in routing and to determine when to show a notification or that these requests would be merged into a single request?

Thanks for that clarifying question, Allen! ILLiad will be managing the related workflows, not providing the CDL functionality directly. Ideally we'd integrate with a CDL system to automate things like delivery of the electronic resource into the CDL system, coordination of sequestering the physical item, and supply of the CDL link and any necessary credentials to the patron or borrowing library.
We're also looking at additional integrations based on the needs of the various CDL systems. For example, DIBS relies on integrations with the ILS to retrieve citation information for the resources for which it manages access. We can build an integration that allows DIBS to get its citation information from Ares or ILLiad (for borrowing side support).
