    This would be a huge help to us, and would allow users to clearly signal which materials they want paged. Currently the only way for them to do that is to add dates and times to requests (which may not always be known in advance, and doesn't necessarily accommodate the flexibility needed to support the research process) or to communicate this information via a staff user.

  2. Adjust request limit logic so that photoduplication requests do not count against request limit.

    This may be a separate idea, but we'd actually like to be able to set a limit on photoduplication requests distinct from a limit on reading room requests. If request limits had an awareness of the request type (in addition to queues) that would be the first step to solving that problem (and would also address this issue).

    This is essential for sites that have longer appointment times in order to allow patrons to adjust their research strategy based on what they are learning and how quickly they learn it.
