  2. Z39.50 may duplicate item records for holdings

    Z39.50 will pull in any hardcoded holding elements in the XML for a holding record, which can cause the first item listed in the record to be duplicated in Ares.

  3. Adding a shared item list that contains an item with an electronic file causes error

    When adding a shared item list to a course, if any of the shared list items has an associated electronic file, an error will be thrown and that item (and subsequent items) will not be added to the course.

  4. Items with a null status will cause errors on the Course form

    Items containing a null CurrentStatus will prevent the Course Items list on the Course form from loading and cause an error message to display.

  7. Entering invalid Start and Stop Dates on the Course form makes other fields unusable

    Setting an invalid date range for the course Start and Stop Dates and then clicking out of the control prevents interaction with the rest of the controls on the Details tab of the form.

  8. The count for Courses Without Instructors may vary in the Ares Client

    The number of courses without instructors indicated in the Courses Without Instructors entry in the System panel on the Ares Client Home form may be different from the number of courses listed after opening the grid. This is due to the query for the courses in the grid also accounting for courses that have invalid users listed as instructors.

  9. Strange behavior when hovering over or clicking a queue name on the Item form

    Hovering over a queue name on the lower-left corner of the Item form unbolds the name and causes the tooltip to appear offset down and to the right. Clicking the queue name makes a text edit box appear to the right, but it is not possible to type in it.

  11. Course Info Fields Always Load as Yellow/Unsaved on the Course Form

    After adding any of the Course Info fields to the Course form layout in the Ares Client, these fields will always load as yellow/highlighted and unsaved when the Course form is opened, even if they contain no data or the contents have not been changed.

  16. Can't apply routing rules to shared list items created via the client

    Items created in the Ares client through Shared Lists do not get handled by the routing rules, instead they are sent straight to the Item Submitted>Awaiting Reserves Processing queue.

    Shared List item routing does work from the web when routing on the Item Submitted status.
