Rather than using additional queues or flags, we could create separate customizable functionality to allow you to specify a hold location when you click the Item on Hold button or use the Item on Hold batch process. Would this be an acceptable solution?

This is something we're interested in as well. This would be perfect for items we loan out for exhibit or items that we have sent as an interlibrary loan item.
