Allow tracking of multiple renewals for one request through ILLiad
Currently ILLiad will only track the first renewal for a request. However, many lending libraries allow for multiple renewals, and with current closures this is happening more frequently. It would be helpful to have ILLiad route and track renewals for requests beyond the first one so that the due date in borrowing requests match what the lender has determined.

This would save so much staff time. Tracking renewals manually is difficult, and we are noticing even more requests for multiple renewals since the pandemic.

we don't use any of the automated processes because we find managing multiple renewals difficult

This would be FABULOUS! Currently we have to place notes in the request, and route them to a separate queue to track.

I've helped several libraries use IDS Logic to automatically flag second renewals, but the workflow for them is still less than ideal. Allowing ILLiad to handle second renewals in the same manner it handles the initial renewal would be extremely helpful.

Right now we need to have a very manual process to track these. It would be great if this was streamlined and easily trackable within ILLiad.

We've had several requests locally where our due date in ILLiad & the OCLC date drifted apart on subsequent renewals, and I've heard similar things from other libraries. This would be great!
