    One small feature of this combination that would be a big help is a more granular "Copy Layout & Grid Settings." At Emory, we'd love to be able to copy *only* Borrowing (or only Lending or only Document Delivery) layouts to various users, but the way it's set up currently, it's all or nothing.

    A couple things would be especially useful in an Ares-ILLiad interaction: 1) Be able to add an Ares Item ID (or several, for cross-listed courses) to the ILLiad transaction, and then when the PDF arrives have it automatically post the PDF to the Ares item(s). Allow staff to decide the destination queue for these items -- Item Available on Electronic Reserves/Awaiting Review by Staff/etc. 2) Be able to forward ILLiad requests for course readings from faculty or students into the appropriate course in Ares (Awaiting Reserves Processing queue) so that the reserves staff can handle the transaction. (Our instructors are inclined to post things directly to the LMS if they get the file themselves. This process would ensure the PDF got posted directly to Ares.)
