Create a secure file upload method for client (using web platform)
Currently the client uses FTP and it should use another method to increase the security and not rely on FTP protocols.

Change item deletion process to be safer and allow some form of undelete/recovery.
If a staff user deletes an item, it would be good to have that delete "delayed" until the end of the day in case it needs to be recovered immediately.

Tracking entries reflect more accurately if the system or staff user initiated that status change
In some cases moving an item to one status immediately moves it to the next applicable status. That tracking entry has the staff username versus a "system" username.

Add Loan Period description field to all grids in the client
It is missing from the Course record's items grid.

Show which staff member added a user note
Have an "added by" field for user notes like there is for item notes.

Staff would like to have scanned items automatically moved to the web
Instead of having staff open the form in the staff client to process the items, they would like a utility to scan that folder and automatically move them.
This could be an issue if sites are scanning ILLiad and Ares items to the same folder.

Option to rename and hide queue names for routing in staff client
Perhaps, an enhancement is what we need to remove:
Route to Acquisitions
Recall Item
Awaiting Acquisitions Notification
Awaiting File Type Resolution
Awaiting Recall Processing
Awaiting ILL Processing – unless it can be edited to show as “In ILL Processing”4 votes -

Way to easily set multiple grid layouts in staff client
Currently you have to set each one up and there isn't a way to copy those settings from one grid to another.

ADA compliant staff client
Staff would like to be able to change the size/font without the screens being squished. Currently, increasing the font size or resolution on Windows makes certain buttons and menu options not visible.
