instructor ability to export more than one citation at a time from web
They would like for the instructor to be able to export more than one item citation .ris file at a time - perhaps something like a checkbox could be available in the items grid on the course details page where the instructor could check the items to export, and then click on an export button.

Allow ItemInfo fields to work on webpages with CustomDropDown
Allow CustomDropDown and the optional ItemInfo fields, 1-5, to work on webpages so we can have custom requirements.

Not all sites allow users to change their user information.

Allow sites to remove edit option from left column for instructor web
There is a left most column that says view, download, edit. That column is not customizable and some sites don't allow instructors to edit the items.

Add call number to fields on the web used for cloning
A site would like to add the call number field to the items tables on the web that are used for cloning/importing items into courses. The staff feel that the call number is an essential piece of info for faculty. We are not able to add this column in, or modify the tables at all, without breaking the functionality of the checkboxes.

Allow adding/removing an instructor for a course using ICourseEdit.html
Now that a course can have multiple instructors, it should be possible to make changes to instructors using the web interface.

Browser bookmarklet for adding web content to reserve lists.
I have seen this functionality being used with other resource list creation software. Could something similar be developed to work with Ares?

Enable 'Course Not Configured' message to be editable
Reference Atlas Systems ticket 36722
Currently, a message displays to users when reserves is not configured for a particular course (using Canvas integration, and possibly other LMS integrations). The message reads "This course has not yet been configured for Ares access. Please contact your instructor or system administrator about configuring this course for use with Ares." We would like this message to be editable/customizable. Per the ticket referenced above, this is not possible with the current Ares configuration.

Allow students to batch print of digitally uploaded files (like PDFs) from the web interface
McMaster would be interested in a feature that allows students to select multiple items in the web and print copies of the associated files. An example case: a student wants to have physical copies of multiple PDFs to recreate the familiar experience of having a physical course pack, which the institution will begin phasing out, in favor of Ares and an LMS. The student desires the familiar ability to take notes on printed copies. An example case: instructors have previously included workbook-like documents in course packs that are meant for user annotation. Providing an easier way for students to batch…

Allow removal of ID column in web tables without disabling custom sorting.
The custom sort option appears to work but will not actually save if the ItemID field is removed from tables. Custom sorting should be retained while still allowing the removal of the ItemID column.

Disable Import Items Button After Clicking or Adjust Placement of Message
Several times a semester, faculty will duplicate (sometimes 3 or more times) items which they are importing from a prior semester. Depending on the length of their list, you may not see the "Please wait as items are imported into Library Reserves" message once you click the Import Items button; if they don't see the message, they click the button multiple times, resulting in duplication of imported items. One solution would be to grey out the import items button as it was submitted; another option would be to make the placement of the please wait message dynamic, so it appeared…

Give access to students to view status of requested materials
We wish there was a feature for students to see what's requested for their courses. They can see the status on the web and not just what's available.

Make <#DLL> tag more restrictive so won't output querystring parameters if the action was the exit/logoff action (action=99).
UOttawa uses a language toggle JS button we put on their pages. If a user logs out and logs back in, the 99 form number is retained in the URL. If the user then goes to change the language, the JS will reload the page, within a separate web folder that houses the alternate language pages. Since the URL still has the 99 action, the user is logged off.

Make Static Alerts on the GLogon pages editable from within the client.
GLogon.html and GLogon2.html have spaces available for including static alerts that can be seen without logging in. Instead of editing the html of those pages to change those static alerts, it would be nice if it were editable in the client interface.

Remove tabindex=0 on elements that do not need focus
the tabindex=0 should be removed from any elements that do not explicitly need to be focusable via tab. Screen readers users will be able to reach the text regardless whether it is in the tab order or not. It'll likely just confuse keyboard users.
