Enhance Custom Search / Grid Batch Options: Email, Tags, & Flags
Staff users should be able to send batch emails from custom search results and other search result/appropriate grid lists. Staff users need to be able to remind large numbers of users about retrieving inactive reserve items and responding to unfilled "I will supply" items. These should be sent to the instructor and proxies designated with the course that owns the item record.
Staff users should be able to batch assign and remove tags in these same grids and custom search results.
When staff users assign custom flags to multiple items and then look at a result list in Custom Search, selecting only items that have said flag attached does not alter the appearance of the Add Flag dropdown, whereas existing flags appear in gray in the dropdown in other areas of the client, like the Item record and the list of transactions with a specific custom flag, via the Home tab.
Custom searches should have the ability to search tags and notification history.

Do you find that you're only deleting courses that are unused or empty? I'd worry about someone unintentionally mass-deleting records, even with a warning pop-up. I'd like to have an easier way to clean up records, like the ILLiad Database Manager, that would potentially have limited staff access, based on a Customization Manager key. What about these items? Is there a particular trait for items that you're consistently deleting?

We track how many items we physically scan each semester, in addition to the total number of electronic items on reserve each semester. However, since many instructors clone their previous classes, it's difficult to determine which PDFs were simply cloned, and which were scanned new. It would be great if the Created Via field (or some other field) indicated that an item record was cloned vs. created for the first time.

While doing some course cleanup, it would make it much easier if there was an option to delete courses (or items if searching those) from the top toolbar when doing a custom search, instead of having to open each course and then deleting it. The option to delete multiple at once would be awesome! Thanks.
