  2. Course creation API endpoint allows courses to be created with the same StartDate and StopDate

  3. Entering invalid Start and Stop Dates on the Course form makes other fields unusable

    Setting an invalid date range for the course Start and Stop Dates and then clicking out of the control prevents interaction with the rest of the controls on the Details tab of the form.

  6. The count for Courses Without Instructors may vary in the Ares Client

    The number of courses without instructors indicated in the Courses Without Instructors entry in the System panel on the Ares Client Home form may be different from the number of courses listed after opening the grid. This is due to the query for the courses in the grid also accounting for courses that have invalid users listed as instructors.

  7. Ares API will return the value of the createdVia Course field as a number rather than a string value

    When retrieving the value of the createdVia field for a course using an endpoint in the Ares API, the value returned will be a number indicating the option's position in the list of possible values instead of the string spelling out the name of that value.

  10. Strange behavior when hovering over or clicking a queue name on the Item form

    Hovering over a queue name on the lower-left corner of the Item form unbolds the name and causes the tooltip to appear offset down and to the right. Clicking the queue name makes a text edit box appear to the right, but it is not possible to type in it.

  11. Yellow shading persists after saving edited fields in Customization Manager tables

    When editing a row in a Customization Manager table, the edited field will remain highlighted yellow indicating that a change is not yet saved, even after saving. Rows may also appear highlighted when editing other rows.

  12. Usernames containing trailing spaces cause issues for Course and User Loads

    Username containing trailing spaces will prevent the Course and User Loads from properly matching users and throw the following dictionary error:

    "AtlasSystems.Ares.Core.CourseUserLoadService - System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary."

  14. Certain users are not associated with a course when it is first imported from CourseValidation

    Only instructors with pre-existing Ares accounts will appear as associated with a course when it is first imported from CourseValidation using the Ares Client. Students, Proxies, and Authorized Users will not appear until the Course and User load job runs again.

  15. Course Info Fields Always Load as Yellow/Unsaved on the Course Form

    After adding any of the Course Info fields to the Course form layout in the Ares Client, these fields will always load as yellow/highlighted and unsaved when the Course form is opened, even if they contain no data or the contents have not been changed.
