ILLiad does not pull all data from Docline when an ISBN for a book is provided
For example, the field will be "978-0". This leaves staff without entire citation and have to go back to Docline to retrieve it. It would be great if this were fixed

Example of process:
1. Open a borrowing Book/Loan request and put in the ISSN field, Year, Author and Title too.
2. Click on the Pubmed/Docline tab (login to Docline if needed)
3. Click the Manual Request button
Notice that the ISSN filed fills in, but the Year, Journal/Book Title and Book Author/Editor do not. -

I agree that this function should works. It works for book chapter, why not for book. This is the only way to request books from NLM, because NLM does not participate in Word Share - we cannot submit request for NLM books in OCLC.

Rare Docline Book Request
Agreed when using ILLiad to request a book from Docline it is such a hassle in 2022 ;)! We know Docline scripts have not historically supported loans in borrowing workflows. But why not? There are some rare occasions when we have to request a book through Docline as it is our only option. In order to do so you currently have to do a manual request which only pulls in the ISBN and you have to copy and paste the rest of the information over. Also, you have to know the library code you want to send to and if they have the book holding. Wish it could work like the article requests do. :)
