An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedFYI - the copyright clearance center now has this model (kind of) - http://www.copyright.com/academia/pay-per-use/
An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedI would not be in favor of pay per click, I would be in favor of pay per distinct user who clicks and not just pay per click.

An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedit would also be helpful if faculty could see the copyright costs for their material int he instructor view. We are getting to a place where we may have to limit the $$ per course as a result of budget constraints.

An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedWe would like some staff (namely reference librarians) to be able to view the processing of Ares items and make notes to items, but NOT move things from queue to queue. This would allow the reference staff to converse with patrons, note outcomes on relevant items without having impacts for the back-office processing staff.

An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedA different option, but related to this request. I think it would be useful if we could decide whether these notes were cloned in the client or/and in the web. This would be useful since many staff notes that are cloned are not relevant to the current semester. if we could decide which notes were cloneable in each interface, this would be exceedingly helpful.

An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedthumbs way up on export! we get this question a few times a year by faculty wanting to revise syllabi
An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedAgreed that bulk import is the power of this feature. One way to get around the EndNote vs. Refworks issue is to have both systems export RIS. this has the added benefit of instructors being able to dump citations out of their discovery service e-shelf systems...just sayin....

An error occurred while saving the comment Allen Jones commentedallow patrons to choose individual items from shared lists (ala cloning) rather than cloning the list. +1 - tell users "people who chose this reading also included these other readings" and allow them to clone the items into their courses.
