An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedJudging by the number of second and third renewal requests we receive for items we've loaned, there are a lot of staff being asked to manually request and track multiple renewal requests. We don't mind allowing multiple renewals on items that are not in high demand. It's better for the planet if a loan can be extended rather than to ship a duplicate item that a patron needs to use a little longer. Our own patrons contact us to intervene for them. Our patrons get confused when they have had one renewal and the next time they only see the clone button. They wind up cloning their request in order to send us a note asking for a second renewal on the original item. :(
Please consider allowing the patron to at least ask for more than one renewal if they're allowed at all, without staff intervention. The lender is free to say no.Anonymous supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThis would save us money and time, especially since ILLiad prints the address from the borrower's constant data now.

We also just upgraded to ILLiad 9.0.3, and the font size does strain the eyes, especially the TN number at the top. Why the dramatic decrease in size of the TN number? Would be much appreciated if next upgrade includes increased or adjustable font size. Thanks!
