Add “Accessibility Required” or “OCR Required” to the checklist under Accept Alternate Edition.
We are seeing an increasing demand for high quality OCR’d copies for accessibility needs. We need an easy way to include this information with the request when it is sent to a potential lender.

Well said, Jessica! I agree that a more systematic approach that provides OCR to all files delivered to all ILL and document delivery users would be preferable.

Actually it would be even better if there could be something that ran in the background that just OCR's articles as they come in. I know there are systems out there that do this, and it would be great if they could be integrated into the ILLiad workflow for both lending and borrowing.

OCR required would be great ; along with a workflow ability to make sure that the articles are OCR before sending to the patron.
