Show who attended an activity/event without adding them as users for that activity
Students may have come to view the items, but you don't want to add them as users for that activity because they shouldn't be able to create requests associated with it. But staff (and instructors) like to know who was in the room.

Many Aeon sites use activities to track classes who visit their reading room which require students to return during the semester to use the activity materials. When these students come back to the reading room, the activity request is cloned to the student and checked out in the reading room, but does not remain associated with the activity. Sites would like the ability to check out items associated with an activity to a patron while retaining the link to the activity.
