Ability to batch edit requests
We would appreciate being able to batch edit requests. I'm sure there are other batch editing use cases, but one that occurs regularly for us if the need to add the same note to multiple request tickets. It can take quite a bit of time to open/edit multiple tickets. In addition to the ability to batch edit various notes fields, adding/updating the scheduled date field would also be useful.

ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin: Ability to hide request button at specific record levels
Currently, you can configure the "requestable archival record levels" setting in the plugin so that the Aeon request button is disabled at specified record levels in ArchivesSpace. It would be helpful to have the option to completely hide the button at those specified record levels where users cannot make requests.

Information passed from another system into Aeon with a diacritics issue
I've recently noticed that diacritics appear as weird symbols when they are inserted into Aeon from ArchiveSpace.

Have the Site field set based on the staff user's DBC when creating requests from an Excel
If a staff user forgets to include the Site value when creating requests from an Excel file, the Site is set to blank and the requests are not visible to staff. It would be helpful to have the Site value automatically set based on the user's DBC in the same way it is set when single requests are created in the client.

Ping the endpoint service periodically to keep the connection active.
We use a homegrown request tool for our EAD guides and we run into an issue where, after a period of inactivity, the connection is lost and so our request tool cannot communicate with Aeon. There does not seem to be a good way to "poke" the server to reestablish the connection. Sometimes the issues lasts a moment, sometimes it persists for 10-15 minutes, meaning our users cannot easily submit requests.

Aeon calendar - seat locations by status
Would it be possible to have Aeon calendar seat locations be available/manageable by user status? So for example, if there were 6 seats available for the public, but two additional seats only available for staff or fellows, could that be configured so those additional seats could be booked only by users with the selected statuses?

It would allow integration with a lot of other cloud-based systems, such as Google docs, Trello, etc.

Problem with "Item Cleanup with the System Manager"
When the "DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup" key is set, the System Manager is not JUST changing the photoduplication status to finished for the orders whose files it has deleted, but it sends all the orders whose photoduplication status is delivered and photoduplication status date is over DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup to finished status.
The cleanup process should be really driven by the name of files deleted by the system manager. The system manager should really leave other orders alone, no matter what status they have or how long they have that status. Otherwise,
1. if somehow an order was moved to the delivered status and its…3 votes -

Clearance status in the Appointments tab in the client
In the Appointments tab, agenda view, you can currently see the researcher's name, user name, time slot, and number of requests. It would be helpful for there to also be an indication of their clearance status (perhaps with a column for cleared/not cleared, or by using a different text color or background shading for the different statuses). That way, it would be easy to look at the day's researchers and get a feel for how many are new, versus returning. Perhaps clearance status can show up in all the available views if possible.

Allow Aeon to send requests to ILLiad for reproduction fulfillment
The University of Baltimore would like the reverse functionality of the current integration between Aeon and ILLiad. They would like to send Aeon reproduction requests to ILLiad. This is because Access Services staff use ILLiad to manage certain reproduction requests from Special Collections. They think it would be easier for Access Services staff to work in ILLiad on these requests instead of having AS staff work in Aeon. When the requests are fulfilled, ILLiad would update Aeon and make the reproductions available to the patron.

ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin - Import data from Rights Statement sub-record
I am submitting this on behalf of an Aeon library, and I also think the enhancement would be useful to other libraries. The library would like for the contents of the Rights Statement sub-record in ArchivesSpace to import into Aeon. This is not possible right now, as the Rights Statement does not publish to the PUI. However, it has been a frequent request for the ASpace development team, so if they do make the Rights Statement sub-record available on the PUI, some Aeon users would want that data to import into Aeon.

ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin - Import Creators at Collection level
The Aeon Fulfillment Plugin for the ASpace PUI can currently import Creators that are added to the component level in a resource record, but it cannot import Creators that are added at the collection level. I am submitting this idea on behalf of an Aeon library that adds creators at the collection level - this is common practice, so the plugin should also be able to import Creators from a collection-level resource record.

ArchivesSpace-Aeon Fulfillment Plugin: Ability to map specific values from specific fields so that a specific request form can display
A library is using the ArchivesSpace field "instanceinstancetype" to pass the value "Graphic Materials," which is used to denote audio visual materials. They would like for the ArchivesSpace-Aeon fulfillment plugin to pass this field to Aeon so that the Aeon Document Type field will be populated with "AudioVisual" and the AudioVisual request form will open.

Ability to select which fields are passed from ArchivesSpace PUI to Notes.
We’ve been working on our requesting from the ArchivesSpace Public User Interface. With grouped EAD-style requests, for each item requested, all the field values are put in the Notes. It would be ideal to be able to define what information would get put in the notes.

ArchivesSpace integrations - import phystech note
Purdue University would like for the Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements (phystech) note to be imported into Aeon via the PUI and client addon integrations with ArchivesSpace. This note could be at the resource and/or arch object level. The note contains handling information that they would like to build routing rules on.

ArchivesSpace integration - import classifications
Purdue University would like for Classifications to be imported into Aeon via the PUI and client addon integrations with ArchivesSpace. They use Classifications as Collecting Areas in ArchivesSpace, and would like to collect statistics when patrons request materials that are linked to those classifications.

Appointments: Allow for recording of researcher's guest(s)
Princeton Theological Seminary has researchers, such as faculty members, who schedule appointments in the reading room and bring their research assistant(s) with them. The assistants do not need Aeon accounts, but they would like to record that these guests are using seats in the reading room during the appointment.

ArchivesSpace PUI - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin - import component Ref ID value
Purdue University would like for the component refId to passed through with other ArchivesSpace data via the Aeon fulfillment plugin for the ASpace PUI. Their digitization lab uses the refid to find existing reproductions in a separate database - the ref ID links between ASpace and that other database.

Automated routing of requests once Appointment is confirmed
In the new Appointments confirmation process, requests still need to be routed to Appointment Confirmed (for example), and since there is no Route menu on the Appointments window (I think that's another enhancement), it's some extra steps for staff.
Would it be possible to have the option so when an appointment is confirmed using the Confirm button on the Appointment window, all associated requests are automatically routed to Appointment Confirmed? (Kind of like how hitting Print Callslip routes requests automatically into Item Being Paged.)
