Ability to verify valid email addresses when patrons register
Boston Public Library would like to make sure that patrons add a valid, working email address when registering in Aeon. This goes beyond web validation for email address formatting; they would like for Aeon to be able to send an email validation to the patron to confirm that it is their email address.

Allow researchers to cancel their appointments up until their appointment time
It would be great if researchers could cancel their own appointments within the minimum lead timeframe.

Allow users to select multiple dates/date spans in the Aeon appointment calendar
We desperately need for users to be able to choose more than one date on the calendar via a single request form. For researchers visiting for one week, for example, we would like them to be able to select their needed materials (from a finding aid, for example), and then be able to select the entire week they propose to visit, as opposed to having to submit a form for each day they want to visit (what if they are viewing one large collection for that entire week, for example - now they have to submit a form for each…

Add associated appointments to info displayed in request lists
An option to show patrons which requests they have linked to an appointment in the "Outstanding Requests," "All Requests" etc. lists would be great.

Allowing users to toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar
It would be helpful is users could toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar. It's confusing to have to select which reading room first then bring up the calendar. It should just be in one place. Thanks!

Form-specific Status text
Not all requests are the same, so not all web forms are the same semantically, so the status text on a form may benefit from being customized to the form semantics or origin. Right now, SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest in Customization Manager handle status lines for all requests. If we want to have different text for, say, the Photoduplication form from the Monograph form, we have to have empty values for SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest, and to add text to each form's HTML file. This also means adding text to each form's HTML file that should in fact get the same text.…

Allow a patron to copy the primary mailing address information to the secondary address fields
The University of Pittsburgh uses both the main address and secondary address blocks on the registration pages for their patrons. For non-affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/work addresses; for affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/campus addresses. They would like for some kind of button that allows the patron to automatically populate the secondary address fields if the address was the same for both address blocks - similar to shipping and billing addresses on e-commerce sites.

Allow users to sort requests by scheduled date & submission status
All saved and scheduled requests are currently listed in Outstanding Requests, and there isn't a way for users to easily sort out just the requests for their upcoming appointment. There also isn't a good way for them to view when they have an appointment coming up, short of going into each request (and they may have requests scheduled for different days). It would be good if the patron could see the dates they have requests scheduled and the requests scheduled on those dates, as well as be able to sort Submitted vs Saved requests.

Allow users associated with activities to clone any request associated with an activity
Add a customization key to let sites determine if users associated with activities should be allowed to clone requests they do not own.
Many sites create requests on behalf of faculty or other users for the activity. If the request is in the staff person's account rather than the faculty person's account, the faculty person cannot easily re-request that item.

When performing search in web, retain selected radio button (active vs all)
When performing a search using the web search, if a user selects the radio option to Search All, it automatically resets to Active after the search results display. Should be set to retain selection.

Make cancellation and other status lines editable for payment gateway transactions
The cancel statuses that display if a payment has been cancelled are not always clear to the patron. Sites would like to be able to edit these message, but they are currently controlled by the DLL. It would be helpful to move these to the HTML code so they can be customized as needed,

The University of Arkansas would like for patrons to be able export citations as a plain text file, besides as an .ris file, for patrons who don't use citation software.
