Allow patrons option to view password during password creation on registration form
The University of Washington would like for the patron to be able to view the password, if desired - i.e., "eyelid" toggle icon, while creating the password on the registration page. This way, they can catch any errors when they have to enter their password twice, instead of starting over if there is a password character mismatch.

Disavowed accounts should be blocked from logins
When a username or account has a disavowed status (i.e., due to merging of duplicate accounts), users should not be able to request a new password or log into that disavowed account. Would it be possible to display a message or pop-up for the user to contact the library for assistance?

Aeon Appointments front-facing tracking
While we have granular details about user Reading Room history via the client, is there a way to allow patrons to see similar history? With the All Appointments filter, patrons can now see a history of their appointments. However, it doesn't specify how long the patron was there or if they showed up at all. Also, the Scheduled Appointments history doesn't allow for walk-in visitors, who do not make an advance appointment. Thank you.

Enhance request search fields on web - add CallNumber search and include default note to indicate what fields can be searched.
According to the documentation (https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011920053-Searching-for-Requests-on-the-Web), only TransactionNumber, EADNumber, ItemNumber, ReferenceNumber, ISXN, ItemTitle, ItemSubTitle, and ItemAuthor fields can be searched via the web interface search requests feature.
This should be enhanced to include addition fields, including at least CallNumber.
Additionally, a note should be added to the page indicating what fields can be searched.

Patron web interface - list researcher proxies for patron
Purdue University would like for the patron to be able to view a list of other patrons for which they are proxies. This was requested while discussing the 'Available to Proxies' checkbox on the 'Schedule Appointment' form.

Create option to restrict reproductions in specific cases via the ArchivesSpace plugin
Some collections are restricted for digitization but are available for in-person viewing. An option should be added to Aeon to restrict the photoduplication option for specific collections. A customization key would need to be added where a list of unique item URIs could be added when duplication is restricted.

Dynamic statuses for remaining days to view uploaded scans
Boston Public Library would like for there to be a dynamic status line that lets patrons know how many days they have left to download an electronically delivered scan on the Aeon web interface. There should be a dynamic status for each available download if there are more that one available at the same time.

Add "Ready for Paging" status and make available via web Actions menu
Some reading rooms would like the option for patrons to notify staff when materials should be paged, either before or during an appointment/reading room visit. Adding a Ready for Paging status to the web actions menu would allow patrons to submit requests when ready. Like Remove from Hold, this action should be available only when a request is in a specific status - Awaiting Request Processing. There should be a key or other setting allowing sites to turn this option on or off depending on their retrieval process.

Allow for custom fields to be added to patron appointment request
California State University L.A. would like to have a drop-down field on the appointment form for the patron to choose the purpose of their appointment. They don't want the field to be on the request form, because the patron would have to select the purpose for each item request for that appointment if the field was required. And they have many returning researchers, so they don't want the field to be on the user registration, as it is more specific to the appointment/reason for the visit.

Ex: September should show before Oct, then Nov. Right now, Nov shows at top.

Length of appointment should accurately reflect available length on each day
Purdue University allows for all day appointments, so their longest time span is 9 hours. However, there is one day where they open for 8 hours. Their hours are set up correctly for each day, but the "9 hours" option still displays on the 8-hour day, most likely from the Maximum Appointment Length setting. If the patron selects the "9 hours' option, there are no available appointment times to choose from in the Appointment Time field.

Add 'accommodations needed' field to appointment form
Purdue University would like for patrons to be able to request needed accommodations for their reading room appointments, such as a magnifying glass or extra light. They are currently using the Special Requests field to collect this info, but they would like for a dedicated field that is part of the appointment form so that they can include acknowledgement of the request when they send the appointment confirmation email.

Add new database fields for Pronouns and Accessibility Needs to User table
Not all institutions will want or be able to store this data, but these fields should be made available for those that do wish to store this information.

Add ability to change language for cancellations on the web
In the cancelled list of requests in the web Aeon account, the reason for cancellation says 'Cancelled by Customer' (this is hard-coded and not a reason for cancellation that we can change). We would love to be able to change the language because we do not refer to our patrons/researchers as customers and it might be confusing as well.

Edit invalid appointment time
The error message users get when trying to create an appointment outside of valid hours currently it says: "Validation error: Conflict with existing appointment."
This status message comes from the Aeon DLL and cannot be edited. It would be great if this was added as a configurable status message in the Customization Manager.

Appointments that are invalid for selection based on MinLeadDays shouldn't be selectable when creating new requests
Currently, if a request is submitted for an appointment within the MinLeadDays on EADRequest, the request is submitted to Awaiting User Review, without indication to the patron that they cannot request for the selected appointment. Aeon should not allow users to submit requests for appointments that are within the MinLeadDays.

Pop-up instructions post-submission of a request form
Would it be possible to have a pop-up or some sort of predictive instructions so that when a user fills out an Aeon request form and submits it, a pop-up asks the user 'do you want to fill out another request? Yes or no?" and if 'yes,' brings the user back to the same request form as before, and if 'no,' brings the user to the Home screen or another page in the account. We have users who fill out a request form and then do not know how to get back to the form to fill out additional requests…
