Filter notifications on web to only show emails sent to the user Right now, Aeon shows all notifications (emails) sent regarding a transaction. It's possible some of those emails may be internal in nature but there isn't a way to filter those out currently.
Either certain emails could be marked as "internal", during the email creation process and/or email routing entry, or emails could be filtered to only show those where the user's email address is in the TO or CC fields. This would be an issue if the user changed their email address, though.

When users log in to Aeon Web, provide feedback for disavowed usernames Occasionally online users will create a new Aeon account not realizing that they have an existing account. We merge the records and disavow the duplicate, but when users try to log in with the disavowed username, the "Username not in database" message does not appear, just the message "Password incorrect"--because the username does exist, just disavowed. Can we have a separate message specifically to address logins with disavowed usernames, distinct from logins with active usernames?

Recommendation system to suggest items to researchers based on users with the same research topic American Philosophical Society created a 1.0 version of a recommendation system for the Aeon web (called PAL - for People Also Liked) to show other items a researcher might want to request based on topics and requests in the system.
This could be expanded into its own web service for recommending items.

Enhance request search fields on web - add CallNumber search and include default note to indicate what fields can be searched. According to the documentation (https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011920053-Searching-for-Requests-on-the-Web), only TransactionNumber, EADNumber, ItemNumber, ReferenceNumber, ISXN, ItemTitle, ItemSubTitle, and ItemAuthor fields can be searched via the web interface search requests feature.
This should be enhanced to include addition fields, including at least CallNumber.
Additionally, a note should be added to the page indicating what fields can be searched.

Dynamic statuses for remaining days to view uploaded scans Boston Public Library would like for there to be a dynamic status line that lets patrons know how many days they have left to download an electronically delivered scan on the Aeon web interface. There should be a dynamic status for each available download if there are more that one available at the same time.

Allow for custom fields to be added to patron appointment request California State University L.A. would like to have a drop-down field on the appointment form for the patron to choose the purpose of their appointment. They don't want the field to be on the request form, because the patron would have to select the purpose for each item request for that appointment if the field was required. And they have many returning researchers, so they don't want the field to be on the user registration, as it is more specific to the appointment/reason for the visit.

Length of appointment should accurately reflect available length on each day Purdue University allows for all day appointments, so their longest time span is 9 hours. However, there is one day where they open for 8 hours. Their hours are set up correctly for each day, but the "9 hours" option still displays on the 8-hour day, most likely from the Maximum Appointment Length setting. If the patron selects the "9 hours' option, there are no available appointment times to choose from in the Appointment Time field.

Add conditional header to researcher tags on MainMenu Add a header that says "Researcher Tags" before the tag display on MainMenu.html. The header should be conditional and should only display when tags are present, in order to call them out to patrons.

Allowing users to toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar It would be helpful is users could toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar. It's confusing to have to select which reading room first then bring up the calendar. It should just be in one place. Thanks!

Form-specific Status text Not all requests are the same, so not all web forms are the same semantically, so the status text on a form may benefit from being customized to the form semantics or origin. Right now, SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest in Customization Manager handle status lines for all requests. If we want to have different text for, say, the Photoduplication form from the Monograph form, we have to have empty values for SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest, and to add text to each form's HTML file. This also means adding text to each form's HTML file that should in fact get the same text.…

Allow a patron to copy the primary mailing address information to the secondary address fields The University of Pittsburgh uses both the main address and secondary address blocks on the registration pages for their patrons. For non-affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/work addresses; for affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/campus addresses. They would like for some kind of button that allows the patron to automatically populate the secondary address fields if the address was the same for both address blocks - similar to shipping and billing addresses on e-commerce sites.

Allow Aeon to recieve requests from Worldshare ILL Hello,
More frequently recently my ILL team has been asked to create accounts in Aeon systems.
Recently leading special collections have said to my ILL team that Aeon did not interact with Worldshare ILL. That effectively means that Cleveland Public Library patrons are unable to make ILL or copying requests except when an Aeon account is created.
We are not an Illiad library.
We can create multiple accounts all over the country and manage a giant spreadsheet of them along with loans.
We would like it if Aeon were able to field requests (at least copying or digitization requests) from…

Ability to temporary disable patron services in Aeon The site would like to be able to temporarily disable photoduplication service availability while the applicable staff person is out of the office. This functionality could be similar to something like disabling ILL services when the library is closed. Perhaps there could be a toggle option that would prevent the photoduplication form from being available to the patron during this time period, along with an explanatory message of the situation.
