Add a user confirmation check to the WebCirc checkout process
It's easy for a high-volume institution with many student workers at many desks to mistakenly check a book out to a user that is not for the user in front of them. Because the TN# is attached to the user, ILLiad then indicates that the item is checked out to the requesting user when the book may have been given to the wrong user. A simple pop-up during the checkout process confirming the username/ID# of the user the item is being checked out to would help prevent this. (and the ability to undo if necessary)

Improve WebCirc functionality
Allow for WebCirc users (staff) to undo something they did by mistake, for instance, marking an item in transit back to ILL instead of checking it out. And/or add a "are you sure" message when moving a request to in transit that is not already at "checked out to customer"

Allow for more targeted web alerts
Allow for multiple critera for displaying web alerts. We have 23 campuses and I'd like to be able to specify I want (for example) Faculty at One Campus (organization field) to receive an alert but not the Faculty at the other 22 campuses. (and other similar circumstances)

IPv6 Support
As the EPA eyes moving to IPv6, we have concerns about our ability to connect to the OCLC-hosted server, as well as concerns about compatibility with Odyssey, Rapid, etc.

Create a way for ILLiad to export citations associated with their requests directly to RefWorks or another reference manager.
Often users acquire articles first through ILLiad and then decide if they want to use them for their research. The DOI resolver and DOI DSP addon features provide complete citations for our users. It would be helpful if a user could simply export the citation associated with a request directly to a reference manager for their bibliography.

Change SSN field to ID
This field label has caused some concern/confusion in the past, and I doubt anyone still uses it to store SSNs. Currently we have to implement various customizations to hide the real column name wherever it appears in search grids.

Allow applying field/layout/grid customizations to all users in Staff Manager
Please make it simpler to set customizations for all staff, including future ones. Currently, field customizations that are applicable to all users must be applied to new users one-by-one.

NCIP connection between ILLiad and FOLIO to check lending loans in and out
Currently, staff have to manually check out any materials we lend via ILL to our ILL "patron" account, and when returned items need to be checked in both in ILLiad and in FOLIO. Occasionally, a checkin or checkout is missed, which can cause a lot of confusion, lost materials, and/or invoices sent in error.
We would love to automate the check in and checkout process of our own materials. My understanding is that NCIP functionality is already available in FOLIO.

Viewing "Return To" Address in "Check in from Lending Library" when Receiving
When Receiving borrowed items in the "Check in from Lending Library" tab, we should be able to view the constant data "Return To" address so we know which address to select when receiving. We have to click on an address in the list, and then view the constant data in the request in a box on the right hand side. I wish we could have that constant data box to view right on that first Check In page so it is easier to select the correct address to return the item to.

Make Illiad fields searchable regardless of including accent marks/special characters
Allow the ability to do searches in ILLiad & pull up the correct results regardless of whether that field has a special characters or accent marks, etc. For instance, doing a patron last name search for Peña, should pull up with Pena or Peña (currently it has to be an exact match). Same thing with titles & authors, if the title has accent marks or special characters, we cannot pull up the request without also including the special characters/accent marks.

Update Docline scripts to include fill in to Docline's Place Request by Journal UI
Not all requests placed in Docline have a PMID. We must use the Place Request by Journal UI (ISSN, NLM, OCLC). This is different than the Manual function in ILLiad. ILLiad does not have a script to fill the citation information in to this request form thus we must type the citation, requestor, and TN number in to the form manually. Because not everything ordered in Docline has a PMID, this is an essential function needed to improve our workflows. A script is needed to facilitate this function.

Update Lender Billing Fields and Description on Transaction Form
Adjust the availability of lender address fields in the transaction form.
Remove Billing Notes from the Transaction view in the Client. Dev believes this is an artifact from before lending billing was split into 2 parts and we have been unable to populate it with data.
Add LibBillingMethod as an option for addition to the layout. It's available in the LenderAddress record view, but not the transaction form view.
Rename the "Billing Groups" label in the Transaction form's Library tab. These are just groups and should not be described as specifically related to billing.

Custom search to retrieve PDFs on the server that haven't been viewed
A custom search will currently retrieve requests “Delivered to Web” that HAVE been viewed, but not those that have haven’t. Being able to quickly retrieve a list of those not viewed and highlighting those delivered more than 3 days earlier would facilitate sending a customized reminder notification while the PDFs would still be useful to patrons. The reminders could be sent once or twice per week.
Alternately, modifying the Electronic Delivery Reminder Server addon with an option to send the reminder x times per week (rather than each day after the first reminder is sent) could achieve the same results…

Button to route to Partial/Incorrect queue in Odyssey window
It would be great to have a button to route requests to the Received Partial/Incorrect queue, in the Electronic Delivery window that appears as part of Awaiting Odyssey Processing. Currently, one must delete the Odyssey file then manually route the request to that queue when the situation applies

Identify ghost/fake ChatGPT citations
Check citations somehow before lenders end up spending time trying to verify ghost ChatGPT requests maybe via Addon or other processing method.

Support for WMS WorldShare Management Services Z39.50
OCLC's WMS system credentials can exceed ILLiad's current username/password field lengths. Field sizes need to be expanded to support OCLC authentication for WMS Z39.50.

Improve Z39.50 and FOLIO connection
There's already a call out to FOLIO to improve how multi-volume holdings appear in XML to make them visible via Z39.50, but it would probably help matters if Atlas Systems and FOLIO worked together to make this improvement for all libraries migrating to FOLIO. https://issues.folio.org/browse/ZF-84
Basically, if there are multiple volumes of a title, only summary holdings and inaccurate availability status are visible through Z39.50. Some libraries have implemented custom addons to get around this, but this is really a workaround to what should be a standard function.

Improve Error handling in Electronic Delivery Utility (EDU) to keep cascading errors from occurring.
When the EDU loses connection to a network location where files are stored due to a timeout or issue, the EDU continues to try and process causing a loop of error messages that cause the EDU to crash. See ticket# 38285 on 3/14 screenshots for error. Please enhance to report the loss of the connection and stop the EDU from continuing. Matt did not think we could re-establish the connection so I don't know if restarting the EDU is an option but Matt added
"we could maybe better handle the errors when it can't make open files and stop trying…
