Include ISIL as supported symbol type in Odyssey protocol.
Odyssey currently supports the symbol types of OCLC, DOC (Docline), ISO and RAPID. At ReShare, we would love it if the schema were updated to include ISIL symbols so that we could transfer files for non-returnables. Please support ISIL (ISO15511:2009) as a library symbol taxonomy for Odyssey. (https://webstore.ansi.org/standards/iso/iso155112009)

Add ability to "pin" or "favorite" staff Note in ILLiad request
In cases where staff have the need to re-use the text of a staff note in an ILLiad request, it would be helpful to enable functionality to "pin" or "favorite" a specific note at the top of that day's listing of notes so as to get there in a single click, without having to scroll down to it (or to have to type in the beginning text for that needed note in the Recent Notes field, in order to auto-suggest).

Article Delivery notices: automated reminder notices
It would improve service to be able to send automated reminder notices to patrons a week or so before electronic articles reach the 30-day limit and will be purged from the server. We remind them to download articles, but a second notice would be helpful, either to all patrons or maybe to those whose request history does not show "PDF viewed."

Connection Manager stops importing Lending when invalid unicode character in a lending request gets stuck
Sometimes an OCLC lending request includes a unicode character that keeps it from being able to be imported into ILLiad. Right now sites just notice this is happening because Lending requests get stuck behind it. And until the OCLC request is cancelled via Worldshare, the Lending requests aren't able to be imported.
Could there be a way for staff to see that this is the issue in the Connection Manager log in the client, or something else?

Expand the group maintenance functionality to include settings that persist for specific groups such as if renewals are permitted and the length of renewals for specific groups. One group we are a part of has expanded renewals to 17 weeks - we want this for that group but not for everyone so it would be nice to be able to customize more than just initial loan length based upon the borrowing library's group.

Create a new status for 'PDF Viewed' to work in conjunction with the current TransactionStatus 'Delivered to Web'
We are trying to improve communication with patrons regarding electronic delivery of articles, especially when they have many items displayed in the Electronically Received Articles section of the web interface. We want users to know at a glance - which articles are available AND whether they have already been viewed. Including the date to be deleted (e.g. via the 'Expires' tag) would also be helpful, but my immediate request is to make information from the History table ('PDF Viewed') available for display. Wrap text for "MatchString" when editing Routing Rules in Customization Manager
When editing Routing Rules in Customization manager there's no text wrap for the MatchString field, which makes it hard to edit lengthier/more complex routing rules.
Right now the options are to either scroll through the long string to read it all (or find the place you need to edit), or copy the existing rule, paste it in a text editor, edit, and then paste it back into the Customization Manager.

Make OCLC Local Holdings visible from ILLiad
When ordering items via OCLC from the Awaiting Request Processing queue, there are many times (especially with Internet Resource format type) where a list of symbols is showing, but no coverage information at all. It appears you can log into WorldShare's online interface directly and expose the holdings information there. Please make this info. visible in ILLiad so we don't have to leave the program or make faulty lender symbol strings. This is really not efficient and leads to wasted time.

ReShare Addon notify user when request is unfilled in ReShare
Enhance the ReShare server addon to send a notification to the requesting user when a request is polled from ReShare (i.e. unfilled/end of rota). Notification should be customizable.

Allow customization of which OCLC subfields populate requests
OCLC has recently rolled out URIs in their various author/creator fields (100/700/etc.), which is causing many author names to be pulled into ILLiad with long website addresses that clutter our paperwork. It would be helpful if we could choose which subfields from OCLC records we wanted to import, so that we could suppress subfield 1 in the author field. Ideally, this would work both for the "Copy Info" button and for the mechanism that populates the OCLC request form, so that we could automatically avoid sending the URIs out to our lending partners as well.

Additional request field auto-copying functionality (user-by-user basis)
Currently, the CopyTitleToClipboard key in ILLiad Customization Manager allows for the auto-copying of the request title. However this setting is global for all users, and can only turned off or on by Process Type (Borrowing, Doc Del, Lending). It would be helpful to provide individual staff with the ability to override the auto-copy functionality, solely on their client, in order to either choose another field to auto-copy (e.g., Transaction Number), or alternately not to auto-copy any field when opening a request. The general setting (via the CopyTitleToClipboard key) would remain active for any staff members who did not "opt out"…

We want to be able to make the action “Clone” ONLY allowed for Completed Requests. We want to remove it from Checked out Items, Outstanding Items, Cancelled Items, and Delivered PDFs.

Make the client installer deployable
It is recommended as standard practice for 2+ decades that users should not be admins on the workstations they use. Thus, they cannot install or update the ILLiad client themselves.
Throughout the IT industry, the way to install any software or updates is via centralized management (whether Windows or Mac workstations, or Chromebooks, tablets or phones) and automated deployments. This primarily occurs when a control server instructs workstations to install software using the workstation's own, built-in "SYSTEM" account which is a "super-admin".
The ILLiad client installer is the only software I've ever experienced (of many hundreds of applications) that fails…

Send Notification dropdown should only display applicable emails based on ProcessType and RequestType
Emails showing in the Send Notification dropdown are apparently populated when the TN is opened, and it shows ALL the EmailRouting table entries for that ProcessType (e.g. borrowing, doc del, lending) regardless of whether that particular email has a notification template for that RequestType (article or loan).
So what happens, is that there is a long list of emails in the dropdown, and if they choose an email template that doesn't apply to that TN's RequestType, then it throws an error, which isn't really graceful.

Allow ILLIAD staff to customize name of column labels.
Hi,
I'm having to do a lot of re-organization of my data after I've created a custom report from ILLIAD. I find myself renaming columns so I know what data I'm looking at. If there was a feature that allowed us to rename the columns in the backend, this would be great for resource sharing managers who have to report on this dataset!

Allow for wildcard IP address entries in the OdysseyAccess table in Customization Manager
We have client workstations that are trusted but may change IP address within the organization's assignment pool. While implementing the manual "Allowed" list in the Odyssey Access Control process ( https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011908313-Odyssey-Access-Control ) it would be helpful for us to allow an entire subnet instead of allowing specific IP addresses. For example, if our known workstations receive a hypothetical address of 10.20.30.x, we would like to be able to enter a single entry that allows all of 10.20.30.*

ILLiad Server Updater
Enhance the Updater to remove older .replaced files or do not create them to start with since all older dll and exe files are already in C:\illiad\setup. The .replaced files take space and make it harder to find the correct files when troubleshooting
