Staff don't get notified about blocked users when checking in items It also doesn't tell staff that a user was automatically unblocked after returning overdue items.

Strip carriage returns out of email subject before sending If an email subject has a field that creates carriage returns (like title), it's failing to send. The carriage returns could be stripped out before sending to avoid errors.

Support for multiple renewal requests by web user The end user needs to be able to request a renewal more than once. Also, once that renewal has been approved the next time, it should go back to Awaiting Renewal OK Processing, regardless that it has already been at that status once before.

Make Wanted By/Service Type field on request form consistently say Wanted By This will allow that field to save when edited. The Service Type label is very very old and doesn't reflect any database field names.

Would like a way to automate the resend request process Currently, staff have to send an email to the lending library to request a resend. ILLiad doesn't necessarily know that the item has been resent and the original document conflicts with the new version. Also, the message itself for a resend is not in ILLiad or Odyssey or any other system.

Allow ILLiad to receive a renewal request once it has been requested in ILS, so that ILLiad can request the renewal from the lending library If items from other libraries are checked out to users in the ILS, when that user places a renewal request, ILLiad needs to know about it so it can ask the lending library for a renewal.

Allow borrowing articles to deliver immediately via trusted sender and auto bill the default amount to the user If every user is always charged $x for an article, there is no reason for staff to mediate those. The billing could be added and the article delivered to the user.

Allow lending staff to set a document type which would modify the due date For videos etc. the due date is different than standard loans. When the request comes in from OCLC or any other system, we don't yet know what format it is necessarily. But when staff choose that format in the document type field, ILLiad could change the due date to a new value based on a customization key.

When creating new users in the staff client, default to electronic notification options Currently, none of the notification check boxes are checked by default on the new user form. Staff have to remember which of the check boxes to check to set a new user to receive all electronic notifications. It would be good to have a setting that made those check boxes checked by default.

Allow Z39.50 searches to work with servers that don't support unicode Several Z39.50 servers don't support Unicode or non-ASCII characters. If the ILLiad title has those characters in it, the search returns no results. It may be necessary to replace characters with their Latin equivalent before searching.
