  2. Enhance cancellation emails to borrowers to allow specific emails to be sent for specific cancellation reasons.

    From customer regarding patron notification email templates used for the cancellation of borrowing transactions. : It would be helpful if I had a template for each reason and if ILLiad would automatically select the right one for each specific reason.

  3. Create an alert to catch Connection Manager hangups.

    From ticket 887: It would be nice if you could develop some sort of alert to let you know that the server needs to be restarted. By the time I realize anything might be wrong things are already pretty bogged up.

    Maybe something that allows an alert to check Connection Manager with no downloads in 2 or 4 hours or similar. Configurable per site due to volume variation. This would be for when Connection Manager is running but gets hung up for whatever reason and requests do not download from OCLC as they should.

  4. Reprints Desk - allow for more streamlined use within the ILLiad client and handle payment via IFM

    Add integrated Reprints Desk functionality and allow for handling payment to Reprints Desk via IFM. This was asked for by VIVA ILL Forum attendees at 2018 meeting.

  5. Have the Patron ID number viewable on the request page.

    Currently, you can only see the patron's name, address, status, delivery methods on the patron tab in Borrowing. You have to use the "View User" button to access the patron's ID number. This would help eliminate a step when you need the ID number for accessing library accounts and fines in an ILS.

  6. Enable auto-population of citation information thru the users' Lending login

    To better serve former Loansome Doc users (as well as others), it would be helpful to have the ability to auto-populate the citation information thru the lending login. This feature exists in the borrowing login. It's easier for our patrons and more accurate for our staff than having patrons fill in the information manually or email it to staff.

  7. Disable trusted sender at the TN or patron level in borrowing

    I'd like the ability to disable trusted sender (thereby having to download and send an article to the patron manually) for specific transactions or specific patrons, not just specific lenders. Disabling trusted sender at the TN level would help for cases where the patron has specifically requested a color/high resolution/accessible copy. I prefer to review these files before having them reach the patron so they don't feel like their request was ignored if the message was missed by the lender.

  8. Printing Multiple Requests from a Queue--Simplify Process

    Ability to select and print multiple requests from a queue without having to navigate through the merge template process. While it is possible to use the Print Selected Requests option from the Process ribbon, the process requires manually opening a template and completing a merge process.

    Ideally, the process would work like other batch printing processes where users are prompted to view/edit a word merge template.

  9. Skip Library Button

    It would be nice if there was an option to skip an institution in your lender string if it's been 3/4 days (for example) and the library has still not even opened the request. At present, if your patron is in a hurry, you have to cancel the entire ILL request and send out a new one to omit the library that is seemingly unresponsive.

  11. At Borrowing: Check In From Lending Library, add ability to import New Lender Information from OCLC Policies Directory

    When receiving an item from a new lender, it would be a big time saver to be able to look up a Policies Directory entry by OCLC Symbol and import the address & contact information into a new ILLIad address, and then return to the request check-in without having to rescan.

  12. Ability to Delay Notifications Sent from Awaiting Customer Contact queue

    For items that are picked up at the same location where items are processed, the In Transit to Pickup location step adds an additional processing step. However, skipping this step means that patron notifications are sent immediately and often staff do not have time to finish physical processing before patrons arrive at the desk to pick up items.

    Having the ability to set a delay period (e.g. 60 min) between when the request is sent to Awaiting Customer Contact and when the notification is sent would allow staff time to finish physical processing before patrons get the notification.

  14. Ability to have separate Lending constant data for different formats

    Ability to create separate Lending constant data for different formats. Life for example, only lend a/v for less time than a regular book and renewal versus non renewal. Then when update, click on a drop down menu for the constant data and scan in all items that apply, then process that queue. Then can do other formats the same way.

  16. Make "terminal" statuses customizable

    We have some statuses that are effectively terminal (eg "Supplied via consortial system"). However, these will remain in patrons' Active Requests in the web interface forever, unless they are moved to Request Finished or Cancelled by ILL Staff. It would be great to be able to add to what statuses are considered no-longer-active.

    Our researchers often use Reference Citation services such as RefWorks, EndNote or Zotero to create bibliographies. We would like for them to have the ability to upload a batch/list of items from a service like this or from an excel spreadsheet.

  19. AddESPUpdate - Returned for Borrowing requests

    If possible, it would be really nice to have the option to use AddESPUpdate - Returned for Borrowing requests. I currently have an addon that mass-adds tracking numbers that we also use for Borrowing returns, and it would be awesome to be able to automatically update those requests as Returned if they haven't been already.

  20. Add a back button to DOCLINE ribbon

    Add a Back button on docline ribbon. It is unclear that users can hit the backspace button - especially since this kind of functionality lends itself more to "browsing" so people might want to go back to a previous screen.
