More ItemInfo and UserInfo fields
Consider increasing the number of ItemInfo and UserInfo fields to more than 5 each. We have already used up all of the ItemInfo fields and have had to re-purpose existing fields to collect the additional information we need in our borrowing requests.

Integrate with NNLM Delivery
NLM is now running something similar to OCLCs ArticleExchange. https://delivery.nnlm.gov/ Provide integration options for ILLiad.

Allow changes to be saved to tables other than the Transactions table via server addons.
SaveDataSource only works for changes to the Transactions table currently, but it would be great if it could save changes to other tables. Or extend the functionality to the Users table at the very least.

Remove trim function from ILLiad web password login
When users log into ILLiad web form to make requests or manage their Illiad account, the ILLiad.dll is trimming spaces from the beginning and end of the password entered. Through LDAP we use our campus Active Directory credentials to let users log into ILLiad. Our campus now has active directory password requirements of including a space (to create a pass phrase). Some users are choosing to put the space at the beginning or end of their password, and because ILLiad is trimming spaces, they cannot log into ILLiad. I don't think ILLiad should be altering passwords entered by the patrons…

Improvement to Borrowing Turnaround Times Report
Currently, the report is generated with Articles, Loans, Overall, and Overall w/ Manually Processed tabs. The Articles, Loans, and Overall tabs are generated with the data of transactions that are automatically processed. What we need is a way to generate this same report with all of the articles regardless of automatic or manual processing (same with loans). With this data being lumped into the Overall w/ Manually Processed tab it is unhelpful when trying to discover total articles or loan turnaround times (not both together).

One Button to Turn Off ILLiad authentication
We no longer use ILLiad authentication. We have been using our University authentication system for years. With the new update, all of our old user accounts that still have ILLiad Authentication checked were locked out. Please create a way to change the authentication method for all of our users at once.

One result per TN in custom search
There should be an easy way to make it so that when you perform a custom search you only see one search result per TN. We often use the custom search to find all of the requests that match a certain criteria and having multiple results for the same transaction is not helpful.

Extend database field length for date field
We regularly receive requests for microfilm reels from patrons who cannot fit the request information into this field. For example, if there are specific dates from different months and years, this never fits. We always have to contact the patron and ask him/her to put this information in the notes field. If the date field for loan requests could be longer, this would be very helpful to us.

Allow regular expressions in the ILLiadValue OpenURL mappings to account for irregular date formats.
Some dates for articles don't adhere to the date formatting that ILLiad expects, so it would be nice to use a regular expression to pull out just the parts of the rft.date tag needed.

Option to disable borrowing overdue notices on closed days
It would be helpful if libraries could choose to suppress sending borrowing overdue notices to patrons on days when the library and/or ILL office is closed. We do not check for ILL returns on Saturdays or Sundays, and on Monday morning we backdate everything returned over the weekend to Friday. However, patrons are regularly annoyed/alarmed to receive an overdue notice on Saturday or Sunday when they've already returned the item. We do indicate that this is nothing to worry about in our email template, but not everyone reads the entire email, unfortunately.

Enable credit card payments in ILLiad
I noticed that Aeon can accommodate credit card payments. For our purposes it would be great if ILLiad do the same. We have a home grown tool that allows individuals and companies not affiliated with our institution or another academic institution to place requests for copies of articles or to borrow books. We facilitate these transactions via web forms and credit card payment through cybersource (a 3rd party secure payment system). Essentially, we would like to be able to manage these types of requests in ILLiad.

Allow ILLiad to merge data not only with Microsoft Word but also Google Docs because many organizations are migrating from Microsoft Office to G Suite

Do not move completed requests to Cancelled by ILL Staff when disavowing users
When a user is disavowed, it makes sense to cancel all outstanding requests so that they are not processed. It does not make sense to move completed requests (in queues Request Finished or Delivered to Web) to Cancelled by ILL Staff. This skews statistics.

Allow Database Manager To Run on a Schedule
We would like to be able to run Database Manager tasks on a schedule. For example, we would like to flip expired patrons to blocked on a nightly basis instead of requiring interaction from staff.

Updates to "Active Statuses" and usability for Web Circ
We have three pickup locations and are becoming increasingly reliant on Web Circ. Recently, we figured out that "Billed & Blocked" isn't considered an "Active Status", so when a patron tries to return a long overdue book at the desk, it can't be checked in (but something that hasn't been checked out yet can!). Could you add "Billed & Blocked" as a status Web Circ can check in? Additionally, are you planning any usability updates? It would be great if "Check in" and "Check Out" weren't right next to each other.

Extend database field length for ISSN
Extend the max field length for the ISSN/ISBN field beyond 20 Characters. Users sometimes copy/paste an ISBN with a prefix (e.g. ISBN: 1234567891234). If they do that with a 13-digit ISBN, the last digits are cut off.

Limit Number of Library Symbols added to the Lending String with Custom Holdings
Add ability to customize the number of libraries that are added when using Custom Holding to create the Lending String.
Many libraries want to create shorter lending strings (less than fifteen) so that requests are not out for potentially weeks before being filled. Currently, in order to create shorter lending strings you have to manually add library symbols or remove library symbols after using custom holdings to auto-generate a string.

Allow renewal requests while patron blocked
Allow patrons to submit renewal requests for other books even when they're blocked (with web access) for other overdue items. Maybe even add an option on the user account to let us pick and choose who we give this privilege to.

Canceling Lending request when OCLC request is Cancelled should not cause Connection Manager error
Currently, if you use the Cancel option to Cancel a lending request when the OCLC status is Cancelled or Record not Found, it will cause a Connection Manager error. While staff can avoid the error by using the routing option to move the request to Cancelled by ILL Staff, it would be helpful if the Connection Manager or the Cancel option could be updated to avoid generating an error so that all Cancellation transactions can be handled in the same manner.
