Enable Recurring Appointments Some of our researchers are requesting recurring appointments in our Reading Room, but we currently have to create a separate appointment for each individual date. It would be so helpful to be able to schedule those appointments all at once!

Sticky Flag Queues Hello,
We use the "Deliver to Reading Room" flag, and each time the queue is emptied and a user logs back into Aeon, the "Requests" queue section that includes the "Deliver to Reading Room" queue reverts to it's original order in the list of queue categories. It would be great if it could stick to the spot where the Aeon user has moved it.3 votes -
Create option to restrict reproductions in specific cases via the ArchivesSpace plugin Some collections are restricted for digitization but are available for in-person viewing. An option should be added to Aeon to restrict the photoduplication option for specific collections. A customization key would need to be added where a list of unique item URIs could be added when duplication is restricted.

Allow request submittal after appointment StartTime has begun Many reading rooms allow request submittal after the appointment time starts. If the Appointment mindleaddays is set to 0, this should allow the user to submit requests until the appointment StopTime.
Alternately, if lead time is required, add a new key to indicate whether requests can be submitted while the user is signed in for their appointment.

Email notifications for new requests Would it be possible to add notifications to staff via email when new requests come in? The pop-up notification that happens now is not always useful for staff, since often staff are not at their desks - they are in the stacks or elsewhere, and do not see the notification for awhile.

Deliver to Reading Room Flag It would be great if the "Deliver to Reading Room" flag was automatically removed from a request when the request was moved to the "Checked Out" status.

Change custom batch process via staff template We have a lot of custom batch processes set up, to the point where the list of options can be unwieldly to look at. We would love to be able to customize which batch processes appear for a specific staff template, so that staff are only seeing the options they need to use.

Information passed from another system into Aeon with a diacritics issue I've recently noticed that diacritics appear as weird symbols when they are inserted into Aeon from ArchiveSpace.

Export appointments from Aeon client as calendar files The University of Tulsa would like the ability to export appointment information from the Aeon client and add it to their department calendar (they use Google) where they record other non-Aeon appointments. (I can also see this benefiting another library that shares their reading room with university archives, which doesn't use Aeon.) For now, UTulsa will CC the person in charge of managing the department calendar whenever the Aeon appointment confirmation is sent (which includes the appointment details).

Allow for hyperlinks in the unrequestable alert in ArchivesSpace plugin We'd like to be able to point the user to guidance on how to submit requests from ArchivesSpace to Aeon from the finding aid by adding a hyperlink to the unrequestable alert in ArchivesSpace that leads to one of our getting started guides.

Automated email to remind patrons that their reproductions are about to expire Purdue University would like for Aeon to send email reminders to patrons for when their uploaded reproduction files are about to expire (electronic delivery cleanup).

Add appointment status for "Needs to be Rescheduled" with associated email allowing site to notify user and request they reschedule When confirming an appointment, staff may find that they cannot confirm the appointment but do not want to cancel it. Instead, they want to ask the patron to reschedule. Add an email template and an appointment status to reflect this.

Add "Ready for Paging" status and make available via web Actions menu Some reading rooms would like the option for patrons to notify staff when materials should be paged, either before or during an appointment/reading room visit. Adding a Ready for Paging status to the web actions menu would allow patrons to submit requests when ready. Like Remove from Hold, this action should be available only when a request is in a specific status - Awaiting Request Processing. There should be a key or other setting allowing sites to turn this option on or off depending on their retrieval process.

Confirm Appointment button should default to Confirm & Email If an email is not desired, staff can choose the Confirm only option. Or add a key to determine the default behavior.

Add 'accommodations needed' field to appointment form Purdue University would like for patrons to be able to request needed accommodations for their reading room appointments, such as a magnifying glass or extra light. They are currently using the Special Requests field to collect this info, but they would like for a dedicated field that is part of the appointment form so that they can include acknowledgement of the request when they send the appointment confirmation email.

Add "Print Request" button to User Appointment ribbon Hi,
We would love to see Aeon add the "Print Request" button to User Appointment ribbon. For offsite materials, printing a duplicate callslip is unnecessary and these print request pick lists are helpful for our paging procedures.
Thanks!

Confirm that a patron has read an email sent from Aeon Purdue University would like for Aeon to confirm that a patron has received and read an email sent from Aeon, especially with the Item Delivered email that contains the information for accessing reproductions.
