Preventing users from booking simultaneous appointments in two reading rooms
We need a setting which prevents a user from booking simultaneous or overlapping appointments in two reading rooms at the same time.

Cancelling an appointment shouldn't automatically cancel requests
I would also like to see cancelling an appointment not auto route a request to request finished. I would rather see it disassociated with an appointment so that staff can route / clone appropriately.

Ability for staff to view uploaded reproduction in staff client
The University of Baltimore would like for staff to be able to view the reproduction that was delivered to the patron. They would like a "View" button, similar to the one that already exists for uploading other documentation to the request and user records. They do not want all staff accounts to have access to the "Logon to web" button, and the proposed View button would also be more convenient.

Add appointment fields to data source for PrintCallslip
Appointment fields are not currently available in the data source for PrintCallslips. Sites would like to add StartTime, StopTime, and ReadingRoom.

Popup Notice for New Appointments
Could we have a notification pop up when someone makes a new appointment, the same way we get notices when a patron makes a new request, submits a photodup request, or creates a new account?

Client: Have fields that allow multiple selections from a controlled vocabulary
The University of Pittsburgh would like additional data types for custom fields, especially the ability to select multiple options from a controlled vocabulary in fields (custom or default) on the Aeon client side. There is an existing ticket in UserVoice specifically about the research topics field. Pittsburgh would be interested in being able to have multi-select fields in the activity record in order to record necessary stats for activities that fall into multiple categories.

Hide past appointments in appointment dropdown on request form in the client
In the appointment dropdowns in the client, all appointments display with the oldest at the top. Past appointments (prior to the current date) should be hidden so staff only choose from future appointments.

Appointment Based Request Limits
It would be great if we had the option to set global request limits as well as appointment specific request limits. Ie, a user may be limited to 20 requests total, but only 5 of those could be for one appointment.

Automatic appointment confirmation & reminder emails
It would be really helpful to automatically generate appointment confirmation emails (when an appointment is made) & reminder emails (the day before an appointment)

Staff note field in appointment
Include a staff note field in the appointment window for internal information (Table number, people working together, etc.)

Add Appointment Info to Signed-in User details
It would be helpful if the signed-in users panel displayed the current time duration for a user's appointment so that staff would be easily reminded of each user's time limit

Appointment display options for patrons
Right now it looks as if a user logged in through the web will see their own appointments displayed in order from earliest (including past appointments) to latest. I imagine that as our frequent users return, this might get annoying for them - since they'd have to scroll and scroll to reach more recent/upcoming appointments.
Is there a way to let patrons change the order in which they display, or to toggle on/off "active" (current and upcoming?) appointments the way you can for "active" requests?

Clearance status in the Appointments tab in the client
In the Appointments tab, agenda view, you can currently see the researcher's name, user name, time slot, and number of requests. It would be helpful for there to also be an indication of their clearance status (perhaps with a column for cleared/not cleared, or by using a different text color or background shading for the different statuses). That way, it would be easy to look at the day's researchers and get a feel for how many are new, versus returning. Perhaps clearance status can show up in all the available views if possible.

Exclude closed days from lead day counts
When patrons make requests the day before regular closures, closed days are counted as lead days, so materials may not be available in time for patron appointment.

Extend length of status lines
Currently, status line text has a character limit (255?) but this is often not long enough, especially if links are included in the text, as the href code is included in the character count. Status lines should be set to longer character length.

Add appointment name to appointment calendar display in client
On the Appointments tab, show the Appointment Name in the row where the user's appointment displays and add Appointment Name to flag on hover.

Appointments: Remove start and stop time fields
The University of Baltimore requires appointments for patron requesting, but would like to remove the start and stop fields from the appointment form. This will allow staff to have more flexibility with controlling access to the reading room. The appointment configuration fields in the customization manager are not fined-tuned enough to allow for per-visit/per-case flexibility.

Allow appointments to be set for certain days only while leaving other days open for scheduling via scheduled date
Allow more nuance in appointment configuration to set some days as appointment-only and allow other days to still be open by scheduled date or not require an appointment.

Add appointment confirmation workflow
Add a key to toggle on or off appointment confirmation. Provide a way for staff to see a list of new appointments and add Confirm Appointment button to the Appointment record.
