  1. Ability for users to view and print past (paid) invoices, and staff to print statement of paid invoices via the client.

    When a user wants a statement of paid invoices for reimbursement from their institution or other issues, there's no great way to get that for them once the orders are paid and delivered. We have to manually go in and resend each paid invoice, or they have to go into each separate transaction/order.

  3. Add key or checkbox to allow sites to determine if a specific field should clone to a new request.

    Ex: if a user places a request but includes a range of boxes, staff will need to clone the request and update the barcode (ItemNumber). If the barcode field is set not to clone, staff can add the correct barcode to each cloned request.

  4. Adjust user expiration process to automatically update the user's expiration date when they submit ChangeUserInformation or ExpiredUsers

    This should not be dependent on the AutoUpdateExpiration key. Many sites want users to expire yearly in order to reagree to reading room policies but do not want the user's expiration date to update anytime the user submits ChangeUserInformation, as that would bypass set user expiration.

  6. Make the "Send Email" button for Item Delivered to retain the previous staff selection

    Georgia Archives use the Item Delivered button to route items to "Item Delivered." About half the time they need to send an email, and the other half they don't need to send the email because the patron is picking up the order in person. They would like for the "Send Email" button to retain the previous selection by the staff user. For example, if the staff user did not need to send an email for a transaction, they would like for the "Send Email' button to remain unselected for the next time. Currently, this only works for the 'Edit Email'…

  7. Ability to update physical and photoduplication automatically together

    Georgia Archives uses a number of custom workflows that are specific to working with government records. They have a few photoduplication workflows where they would like to be able to update the photoduplication status and have that action automatically update the physical status. One example is when they route transactions to "Awaiting Order Payment," they would like for the physical status to update to "In Photoduplication." Currently, the transaction routes to "Awaiting Order Payment" via a routing rule. Then staff have to navigate to the Details tab to click on the In Photoduplication button.

  8. Make cancellation and other status lines editable for payment gateway transactions

    The cancel statuses that display if a payment has been cancelled are not always clear to the patron. Sites would like to be able to edit these message, but they are currently controlled by the DLL. It would be helpful to move these to the HTML code so they can be customized as needed,

  9. Link to Departments list from Activity Record

    Case Western would like to record the department that an activity is associated with. They are currently using an ActivityInfo field to record this information. It would be most efficient if a department field was available in the Activity record and it connected to the department list in the customization manager. A second option is to allow for ActivityInfo fields to be dropdown fields so that a controlled vocabulary can be used.

  10. ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin: Ability to hide request button at specific record levels

    Currently, you can configure the "requestable archival record levels" setting in the plugin so that the Aeon request button is disabled at specified record levels in ArchivesSpace. It would be helpful to have the option to completely hide the button at those specified record levels where users cannot make requests.

  12. Ability to rename field labels in Search Users section of the staff client

    Georgia Archives uses the term "Patron ID" for "Username." They would like to be able to change the "Username" field label in the "Search Users" section at the top of the client dashboard.

  13. Add Notes merge field to PrintInvoice.docx

    Georgia Archives would like the ability to include the Notes field on the Invoice template, because the notes could include additional information for the patron to understand the charges on the invoice. Right now, the Notes merge field is not available in the Print Invoice document.

  14. Create an email to send automatically to patrons to notify them their Aeon account is expiring.

    Create a new default email template to send automatically to patrons to notify them their Aeon account is going to expire.

    Add key to Customization Manager so sites can decide whether to use this email or not.

  15. Display creation date field in user record in the staff client

    The University of Arkansas would like for the creation date of when the patron user record is created to display on the Details tab in the user record. Right now, this field is only available for view in the user search results grid. It is not explicitly shown in the history tab, either. If the site is using the New User Email, they can infer the creation date from when that email is sent in the email history, but if they are not using the system New User Email template, there is no other way from the user record itself…

  16. Create database field for preferred name

    Create a new database field for Preferred Name. This field should be searchable in the Name search on the Dashboard and added to the available display fields in the Signed In Users group. When used and data is present, the preferred name should supersede the First Name in all views/displays/print templates.

  18. Add log file destination to the installer as a configurable option

    The current config file in the installer puts all logs in “%envFolderPath{MyDocuments}\Aeon\Logs”. There is no way to change this in the installer, to point to a location such as “%envFolderPath{OneDrive}\Aeon\Logs”. Changing that after installation requires modifying three config files per installation. We would like the option of changing the destination of the log files during installation.

  19. Increase size of the icons that appear in the Aeon staff client

    Georgia Archives has asked that the icons (e.g. refresh, "heart" button, tabs navigation button) in the Aeon staff client be larger so that it is easier for staff to see them and use them.

  20. Add the ability to schedule partial closures

    Add the ability to schedule partial closures within the customization manager. Because of instruction held frequently in the reading room, I would like to be able to block requesting for specific blocks of time within a day, for example, from 1:00-2:30.
