Confirm that a patron has read an email sent from Aeon
Purdue University would like for Aeon to confirm that a patron has received and read an email sent from Aeon, especially with the Item Delivered email that contains the information for accessing reproductions.

Length of appointment should accurately reflect available length on each day
Purdue University allows for all day appointments, so their longest time span is 9 hours. However, there is one day where they open for 8 hours. Their hours are set up correctly for each day, but the "9 hours" option still displays on the 8-hour day, most likely from the Maximum Appointment Length setting. If the patron selects the "9 hours' option, there are no available appointment times to choose from in the Appointment Time field.

Add new database fields for Pronouns and Accessibility Needs to User table
Not all institutions will want or be able to store this data, but these fields should be made available for those that do wish to store this information.

Edit invalid appointment time
The error message users get when trying to create an appointment outside of valid hours currently it says: "Validation error: Conflict with existing appointment."
This status message comes from the Aeon DLL and cannot be edited. It would be great if this was added as a configurable status message in the Customization Manager.

Ability to remove the fax option from the NotificationMethod field
A few libraries have requested this option. They would like to remove the fax option from the standard NotificationMethod drop-down. These options are hardcoded and cannot be controlled in the custom drop-down table in the customization manager. We did create a custom field with the necessary configurations, and updated the relevant registration web pages. One library, New York State Archives, is experiencing bugginess with this custom field because they have an unusual workflow for creating patrons. Purdue University, University of Tulsa, Cal State LA, and University of Washington also asked for the fax option to be removed.

Photoduplication - block requests once a patron has reached a page limit
From the University of Tulsa: Some of our collections contain huge troves of unpublished manuscripts, which has caused issues with copyright violations. Patrons can request scans of up to 200 pages from a single collection in a 6-month period. Is there a feature that will help us automate that policy? Flagging accounts, or blocking those requests from going through once the system records that a patron has successfully received a certain page count, or even stopping the request before it goes to submission?

Automated routing of requests once Appointment is confirmed
In the new Appointments confirmation process, requests still need to be routed to Appointment Confirmed (for example), and since there is no Route menu on the Appointments window (I think that's another enhancement), it's some extra steps for staff.
Would it be possible to have the option so when an appointment is confirmed using the Confirm button on the Appointment window, all associated requests are automatically routed to Appointment Confirmed? (Kind of like how hitting Print Callslip routes requests automatically into Item Being Paged.)

Add ability to change language for cancellations on the web
In the cancelled list of requests in the web Aeon account, the reason for cancellation says 'Cancelled by Customer' (this is hard-coded and not a reason for cancellation that we can change). We would love to be able to change the language because we do not refer to our patrons/researchers as customers and it might be confusing as well.

Appointments - besides Status-specific appointment settings, allow for other fields to determine appointment settings
New York State Archives would like for other fields, specifically the Organization field, to be another field, like Status, that would allow for granular appointment settings. Patrons from some organizations will need more flexibility for appointment availability based on their research needs and schedules.

Add more granular location data mapping to ArchivesSpace Fulfillment Plugin
Some institutions would like to bring isolated location data from ArchivesSpace into Aeon. Consider adding mapping for location coordinate label 1, coordinate indicator 1, coordinate label 2, coordinate indicator 2, coordinate label 3, coordinate indicator 3, (6 fields total) to allow for more discrete location information.

Notification when closing Aeon if users are still signed into a reading room
Sometimes people forget to sign users out of the reading room at the end of the day, due to various factors. Would it be possible to have a pop-up notification that appears when the Aeon application is being closed, saying 'there are still users signed into the reading room'? This way, staff will be reminded to sign those users out before closing Aeon at the end of the day.

Ability to batch edit requests
We would appreciate being able to batch edit requests. I'm sure there are other batch editing use cases, but one that occurs regularly for us if the need to add the same note to multiple request tickets. It can take quite a bit of time to open/edit multiple tickets. In addition to the ability to batch edit various notes fields, adding/updating the scheduled date field would also be useful.

ASpace request fulfillment plugin: allow customizable :restrictions_message to be configured per Local Access Restrictions Type
Peabody Essex Museum suggested it would be useful to have different restrictions messages per Local Access Restriction Types as the restrictions vary and they would like the messaging to be different.

Pop-up Addon Allow for more than one instance
The new Pop-up Addon is great. A good enhancement would be to allow for more than one type of pop-up based on different fields, rather than only being able to have one.

Exclude closed days from lead day counts
When patrons make requests the day before regular closures, closed days are counted as lead days, so materials may not be available in time for patron appointment.

Appointments that are invalid for selection based on MinLeadDays shouldn't be selectable when creating new requests
Currently, if a request is submitted for an appointment within the MinLeadDays on EADRequest, the request is submitted to Awaiting User Review, without indication to the patron that they cannot request for the selected appointment. Aeon should not allow users to submit requests for appointments that are within the MinLeadDays.

Mapping ArchivesSpace "container profile" name to Aeon requests via the ArchivesSpace/Aeon Request Fulfillment Plugin
The University of Southern California Libraries would like the ArchivesSpace Aeon Fulfillment Plugin to pull each container profile "name" from ArchivesSpace into new Aeon requests made via the plugin. The only value that we would like to map from the ArchivesSpace container profile record is the container profile "name" (title).
Currently, ArchivesSpace container profile values are not listed as available options in the Aeon OpenURLMapping table.
