Copy Layout & Grid Settings - Separate Borrowing, Doc Del, and Lending
In the Staff Manager, please adjust the granularity of the Copy Layout & Grid Settings by Borrowing, Doc Del, and Lending. If I make major changes to the Borrowing layout, I'd like to be able to copy those changes to the relevant student employees & staff, but not overwrite their layouts in DocDel and Lending. It would be very helpful if we could indicate which layouts to change and which to retain in these different areas of ILLiad.

Check OCLC Status before sending Overdues-do not send for "Returned" OCLC status items
Remove step of manually checking for OCLC "Returned" status before generating overdues. it would be helpful if the automatic process included checking the OCLC status before sending it off and not sending for items in Returned status.

Clear browser cache
Grant us the ability to clear previously entered browser data and the web cache within the "Docline request web browser window" in the illiad client, perhaps at the very least add a back button?
This lack of functionality can be particularly problematic with Docline's new multipath sign-on feature. A user in the illiad client could enter a "valid" login, like say their facebook, google, or institution's SSO credentials, which would pass thru the gateway, but still wouldn't be authorized with Docline. Locking them out docline but having no easy way to change their credentials to the "correct" login.

Book Chapters - Should use Article holdings path instead of Loan holdings path
Book chapter requests use the incorrect custom holdings path; they pull from OCLCILLLoanHoldingsPath instead of OCLCILLArticleHoldingsPath, but the latter is the correct path.

Email Notification to a user/lender/borrower that is NOT tied to a specific request, but from the user record, or lender address record.
It would be great to be able to send an e-mail notification (from a template) to an individual user, lender, or borrower from the user record, or address record for a library. One instance I would use this for would be to provide individualized tracking information that may apply to a large number of requests at one time. Or to alert a patron of an entire list of things they have out--or to let a group of patrons know that we are temporarily suspending a particular aspect of service. Add SLChangeUserInfoSucceeded for ILLiad patron information webpages
This option exists for Ares but is not available in ILLiad 9.1
The currently available webpages allow users to update address information and other personal account details, but there is no mechanism for letting a user know that their update has been successfully submitted-- i.e. the page reloads, displaying the information a user has just entered into the available fields, so from the user perspective there has not been any apparent change.8 votes -

Please develop an ILLiad app for iOS on iPad. It would greatly ease some of the difficulties our workers have doing their job remotely.

Electronic Delivery Utility
Enhance EDU to allow multiple copies (using Automode) to process files from the same scanned file folder for different nvtgc sites. Currently the EDU reads through all scanned files in a folder and when more than one EDU is running it can lock the file causing errors for the other EDUs trying to process that file.

Database Manager - Extend the transaction purge options
The transaction purge tab in Database Manager only has transaction date as a criteria. The Patrons tab allows for a very fine grain approach for deciding which users to purge. It would be nice to have a similar or expanded group of options for transaction purging.
For example, it would be nice to be able to delete test users that have test transactions, which we cannot currently do effectively now.

Add price to Symbol/days to lend grid instead of hovering for that information.
Having to hover over a symbol to see the cost while in borrowing trying to build a custom string takes extra time. It would be great if the cost could be displayed right next to the days to fill.

Add an export option to the Submit Copyright Orders Screen
Most other ILLiad screens allow exporting data to Excel. Adding the option to the Submit Copyright Orders screen so we could more easily investigate titles we're borrowing high amounts of, along with the actual current publisher fees in CCC prior to submitting the order would be very helpful

Ability to display and update user information on a transaction/request form
Recent issues with COVID 19 are increasing use of the "mail to address" workflow for home delivery. It would be helpful for users to be able to view their address and other user information from the request form should it need to be updated.

Allow deletion of unmatched electronic delivery
Sometimes items with a status of Delivered to Web will reroute back into electronic delivery. The item is then stuck in the "No ILL Lender Match" box and can't be be deleted or permanently rerouted back to Delivered to Web. Each time this happens OCLC support has to manually delete the transaction. ILL staff should have the ability to delete. Or, the bug that reroutes transactions back into electronic delivery needs to be patched.

DKIM support
ILLiad needs support for DKIM and to allow configuration to differentiate From addresses and Reply-To addresses to prevent ILLiad messages from going to SPAM.

Allow WebAlerts to be set based on User LoanDeliveryMethod
WebAlerts can currently be set by a number of useful keys, like DeliveryLocation (which NVTGC code a user has set as pickup location).
Like many libraries, we are greatly increasing mail to home options due to COVID-19, and the majority of our classes being remote in the fall, and are using Users.LoanDeliveryMethod.
I'd love to be able to give special messages to patrons depending on whether they have marked LoanDeliveryMethod MailToAddress or HoldForPickup. For those being mailed, I want to remind them to update their address; for those picking up, there may be changes iin hold shelf protocol.

Support borrowing patrons sending items directly back to lending library
Implement an option to make a shipping label for the patron send the item directly back to lending library and supporting workflows and updates in ILLiad.

ability to update OCLC request to complete
Attempting to Check In from Lending Library will cause a Connection Manager error if an item is returned to the lender but the borrowing library has not performed the OCLC Received or Returned update.While the Connection Manager error can be cleared, the system flag will remain unless the borrowing library updates the request.
It would be helpful to have a way to override these flags, particularly if the item is considerably overdue.

Notify Patrons We Are Still Trying to Fill a Request
In a recent OCLC customer service webinar it was suggested that we notify patrons regularly as to the status of outstanding borrowing requests. This would not be possible for us to do manually due to our work load. If we could use ILLiad to send out a notice for borrowing requests to let patrons know we are still trying to fill their requests, that would be great.
