Support OAuth 2.0 for SMPT Authentication My institution uses Microsoft for email and would like to use OAuth 2.0 to authenticate in ILLiad. We currently use a local SMTP server to send emails using a university account, allowing ILLiad emails to come from a trusted university address. However, my IT department informed me that Microsoft will no longer allow this type of configuration and recommends that library applications use OAuth 2.0 to authenticate to the server before sending emails. It is my understanding that OAuth 2.0 is more secure than ILLiad's current SMTP login as OAuth does not pass credentials. I know that other library vendors,…

Allow conditionals based on OpenURL fields We would like to be able to add a function to the OpenURL configs such that we can take a value and interpret an ILLiad value from it.
For instance, as rft.lib=UNIV needs to translate to LendingString=EMU.
We had scripts for this before, but we're migrating to OpenURLs and APIs, so this enhancement would be very appreciated.

Pre-populate the ILLiad loan request form with values from the patron search in ReShare When a user gets an "End of ROTA " notification from the PALCI/EZ Borrow system (on REShare platform), pre-populate the ILLiad loan request form with the values from the patron's search.

Show WorldShare's "Lost" button in received borrowing loan requests WorldShare has a "Lost" button that appears on all all Received loans (including overdue items and those in any renewal status, even renewal denied). When you click the "Lost" button, the item moves to "RECEIVED_MISSING" in OCLC, which makes it much easier for the lending library to close the transaction once they receive the replacement payment for a lost item.
It would be helpful to have the ability to choose "Lost" on the OCLC record directly within ILLiad, in the OCLC ribbon alongside Complete/Receive/Not Received/Return/etc.

Replace removed NotWantedAfter field and associated dropdown calendar on default web forms The NotWantedAfter field was removed as a default from the 9.1 ILLiad web pages. This should be be replaced, with the corresponding hidden field removed, and a dropdown calendar should appear when clicking in the field box, as in previous versions of ILLiad. This feature was appreciated by our patrons and desired for the 9.1 pages. (write up by Kerry).

Allow borrowing library to update OCLC Status to RECIEVED if still in CONSIDERING status It would be really helpful if borrowing libraries could update the OCLC Status to Received if the lending library forgets to update the request to Shipped, but the borrower receives the item anyway. We then have to contact the lending library and hope that they update the status to Shipped before the request expires. Even having a warning message pop up in ILLiad when trying to check the item in that says the status is CONSIDERING would be incredibly helpful.

Refine Transaction Permissions for Borrowing Write in ILLiad Staff Manager Currently in ILLiad Staff Manager, under Transaction Permissions, if a staff is granted Borrowing Write permission, that person will be able to access, modify, process and impact all Borrowing TNs. We would like to be able to limit staff to Check In From Lending Library and Print Receives functions only, and deny the staff the ability to modify TNs in Awaiting Request Processing queue and other more "sensitive" queues.

Add autofocus to the first field on all ILLiad web forms (request forms, search page, etc.) It would enhance accessibility if each of the ILLiad 9.1 forms (request forms, search page, new user info, reset password, login, etc.) used the autofocus feature to activate the cursor in the first blank field. See: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_autofocus.asp We're working on adding this manually to our pages, but having it in the pages by default would be better!

Make sure all accounts that log in with past Expiration Dates must go through the Expired Users page and update their information Users with old expired stub accounts are not prompted to update their information when logging into their ILLiad accounts again. The account status goes from Cleared=NEW to Cleared=NO, and ExpirationDate isn't checked/updated because the account was technically already created.
We need ILLiad to check whether an account is expired or overwriting an existing expiration date. Having a patron from 2012 able to submit requests without updating their contact information or preferences is a real problem for us -- patrons can and do change their email addresses, and we allow patrons to choose to have loans delivered to their home if…

Auto due date/overdue reminders should continue, even after an item has reached "very overdue" If an item gets to the stage of "very overdue" in ILLiad and then the item is renewed, I've noticed that ILLiad's auto-reminders stop going forward. It would be nice if they continued to be sent, adjusting for the new due date, regardless of the previous overdue history

Conditionally display due date on All Requests web page On the All Requests page in ILLiad patron web interface, make the display in the “Request Finished” (or similar) status appear without the due date, while the others retain them.

Have a custom key that allows Sites to choose if the characters \/;:,.&? get stripped off or not Some characters may get dropped from Title when displayed in the Title Search box. This affects the Search results. For example, when testing Angels & Demons, the book did not show until the ampersand was added back in.

A prompt on check-in (from Customer) when Special Instructions are present in the ILLiad record For example, if this item could potentially have multiple copies included in a series. Possibly add this to both the Client and Web Circ.
