Settings to disable patron info sent via ISO ILL messages Some libraries have been migrating away from Worldshare and Illiad, but would like to remain connected to their ILLiad partners using ISO ILL via Illiad.
It would be helpful for ILLiad libraries to have settings within the customization manager that help manage borrowing request information sent to these partners--particularly in relation to patron information.

Connect to local catalogs in WorldShare We were formerly with an ILS that could be connected to within ILLiad using the Z39.50 option, but since switching to OCLC WorldShare's Discovery catalog there is no option to be able to search our local catalog within ILLiad. Atlas should consider adding an option for the Discovery tool to be added and work the same way the Z39.50 worked.

Add a refresh button to the ILLiad user - Requests tab. It would be nice if you could refresh the status and number of requests in an ILLiad user (request tab) without a close/reopen.

Turn off animations on Due Date calendar in Client When trying to change the due date in ILLiad using the built-in calendar, moving through the months using the arrows results in an animation, and you can’t scroll to the next month until the animation stops for the current month. It’s just a fraction of a second, but when we receive a generous renewal of several months, it’s an annoyance to have to wait for the animation before moving to the next month, rather than having the month load instantly as it does in many built-in calendars in other software/apps. (Workaround: I'll try to get in the habit of typing…

Routing Queue saved to Quick Access Toolbar should remain after logged out of ILLiad. Currently, routing queues added to the quick access toolbar disappear once someone logs out of ILLiad. It would be nice if the quick access toolbar saved any customization instead of having to added routing queue every time someone logs into ILLiad.

Sites should be limited to view Web Alerts to only those created by their staff For sites within a consortium, it would be a good idea to limit sites to view Web Alerts only to those created by their staff i.e. limit to view those created by their NVTGC.
The delete option also should be restricted to the Web Alerts created by their own staff/NVTGC. Otherwise their is danger of the wrong alert (Alert of another institution) inadvertently getting deleted.2 votes -
Refine Transaction Permissions for Borrowing Write in ILLiad Staff Manager Currently in ILLiad Staff Manager, under Transaction Permissions, if a staff is granted Borrowing Write permission, that person will be able to access, modify, process and impact all Borrowing TNs. We would like to be able to limit staff to Check In From Lending Library and Print Receives functions only, and deny the staff the ability to modify TNs in Awaiting Request Processing queue and other more "sensitive" queues.

Make sure all accounts that log in with past Expiration Dates must go through the Expired Users page and update their information Users with old expired stub accounts are not prompted to update their information when logging into their ILLiad accounts again. The account status goes from Cleared=NEW to Cleared=NO, and ExpirationDate isn't checked/updated because the account was technically already created.
We need ILLiad to check whether an account is expired or overwriting an existing expiration date. Having a patron from 2012 able to submit requests without updating their contact information or preferences is a real problem for us -- patrons can and do change their email addresses, and we allow patrons to choose to have loans delivered to their home if…

Add an automated password reset for staff ILLiad client passwords Allow staff to reset their own passwords when they forget them for the ILLiad client (similar to user password reset functions via web). "Forgot Password"? for the client interface rather than another staff person having to go into Staff Manager to reset it manually.

Allow autofill for New User Registration Form for users who have previously abandoned the form. Provide a way for the UserValidation to import into the Registration Process even though the Patron account was created and it is showing the Cleared as New.

Save Customized Grids It would be incredibly helpful to be able to save grid layouts as .xml files in ILLiad to apply to other users or to other queues for the same user. It appears this is already supported in Aeon: https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011821354-Saving-and-Loading-Grid-Layouts
(I saw this suggested on the Ares Ideas area; this would be great for Ares as well.)2 votes -
Permissions for Electronic Delivery Utility University of Pittsburgh would like more control over access to the Electronic Delivery Utility, particularly in reference to billing features. Please consider tiered permissions that limit individual staff use and limit the ability to skip or adjust automatic billing totals.

Allow staff to customize which transaction statuses are displayed under each heading in the patron interface I would like more customizable display options for transaction statuses in the patron interface. For example, once a patron clicks the "Renew" button, the request disappears from their checked out items list until the renewal is processed and routed back to checked out to customer. I would like items in the Renewed by patron status to also appear under the checked out heading.
We use a lot of custom queues and would like to be able to manage where requests display in the patron interface.

Import ILL into Alma without Checking In Sometimes when I check in an item from a lending library, I receive an NCIP error that causes a loan to not be automatically imported into Alma. After I fix whatever caused the error, I currently have to check the item in again. This messes up the tracking and can cause an OCLC error. It would be nice if there was an option to only import the request without updating the status in ILLiad and OCLC.
