Create a secure file upload method for client (using web platform)
Currently the client uses FTP and it should use another method to increase the security and not rely on FTP protocols.

Change item deletion process to be safer and allow some form of undelete/recovery.
If a staff user deletes an item, it would be good to have that delete "delayed" until the end of the day in case it needs to be recovered immediately.

Group items by title for hard copies to shorten list for web users
On the course info page, if a title has multiple physical copies available on physical reserves, that list of the title is cumbersome. If they could automatically group by the title, and expand to show each ItemID, that would make the list easier to navigate.
Reordering of items that is possible by instructors would have to take this into account.

Option to rename and hide queue names for routing in staff client
Perhaps, an enhancement is what we need to remove:
Route to Acquisitions
Recall Item
Awaiting Acquisitions Notification

Awaiting ILL Processing – unless it can be edited to show as “In ILL Processing”4 votes -

Add call number to fields on the web used for cloning
A site would like to add the call number field to the items tables on the web that are used for cloning/importing items into courses. The staff feel that the call number is an essential piece of info for faculty. We are not able to add this column in, or modify the tables at all, without breaking the functionality of the checkboxes.

Staff would like to have scanned items automatically moved to the web
Instead of having staff open the form in the staff client to process the items, they would like a utility to scan that folder and automatically move them.
This could be an issue if sites are scanning ILLiad and Ares items to the same folder.

Allow admins to mark some fields as required on item screen in staff client
One use case we have now: We want the "Nature of Work" on item screen to be required in order to enforce staff's input in this field. It should allow admins to configure in the system which field should be required.

Allow Full Proxy users to import courses from CourseValidation in the web
If the Instructor is unavailable to import upcoming courses from Course Validation, it would be best if their Full Proxy users were able to see those courses that are in CourseValidation for the instructors they're associated with. Right now these courses do not show at all to the full proxies unless the have already been imported either by the instructor or by staff via the client.

Ability to limit which status(es) batch item upload will work with
They would like for the batch item upload to only upload files for items that are at specific queues, such as 'In Stacks Searching' and/or 'Awaiting Scanning.' They would like for it to work the way Odyssey Helper does in ILLiad. This is because the batch upload functionality automatically routes the item to available on reserves. Staff might still have to do a few things with it, such as finish copyright processing.
