  2. Support custom database users in the Aeon Installer

  3. Add a link for viewing requests on Aeon's Review Requests page

    On Aeon's View Requests in Review page, there is no link to view the details of a request. The only options are to either edit individual requests or batch-submit requests.

    This can be accomplished by adding one of the following to the Templates/RequestsInReviewDataRow.html page.

  4. Have the Aeon web application send an email when an error occurs.

    It could be helpful if the Aeon web application reported errors by sending an email using a new template. This could inform admins of errors they may otherwise be unaware of in a timely manner.

  5. Have option to add fields from ReadingRoomHistory table to the User Record Detail window

    Have an option to add fields from ReadingRoomHistory table to the User Record Detail tab layout, so that staff can quickly see the last time a user was signed in to a selected Reading Room.

  6. When users log in to Aeon Web, provide feedback for disavowed usernames

    Occasionally online users will create a new Aeon account not realizing that they have an existing account. We merge the records and disavow the duplicate, but when users try to log in with the disavowed username, the "Username not in database" message does not appear, just the message "Password incorrect"--because the username does exist, just disavowed. Can we have a separate message specifically to address logins with disavowed usernames, distinct from logins with active usernames?

  19. Automate activities procedures

    We have gone through a few iterations of methods for handling just these situations, because cloning to all individual users for what was essentially course reserves (or other similar Activities) was quite cumbersome. Here's what we've devised, and it's working pretty well for us these days: 1. When materials are being used in the class session, all requests are routed to "Item Checked Out to Activity." 2. When the class session is over but we suspect (or know in advance) that students will return to the reading room for further consultation, we route all the requests to a custom queue,…

  20. Know if a staff user is no longer signed into the client and route any open requests back to previous status.

    Use the System Manager’s StaffSession processing to identify transactions that are marked as in processing by a user that no longer has the Client open. Then route those back to their previous state to present requests being stranded.
