  2. Ability to save billing information without yet generating the invoice

    "Would like to be able to save pricing/order information without generating an invoice. OR without having the information be available to the patron.

    We need a DRAFT mode so we can leave an incomplete invoice without exposing it to patron and to move status."

    "We would like to save work on an in-progress order (adding services, and descriptions). Currently, we can only save our work on an order by pushing the GENERATE INVOICE (aka, share the invoice with the patron) button.

  3. ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin - Ability for patrons to make more than one selection in ArchivesSpace

    A library using the Aeon Fulfillment plugin in ArchivesSpace would like for checkboxes to appear at the requestable levels (e.g. file, Item) so that a patron may select more than one resource before using the plugin to log into the Aeon and submit the requests via Aeon. They are essentially looking for a "shopping cart" feature on the ArchivesSpace side.

  4. Cancelling printing a callslip should also cancel the automatic routing to In Item Retrieval

    Sometimes the Print Callslip button is clicked inadvertently, but if the user cancels the printing action, the request is still routed to In Item Retrieval. Staff have to then search for the request to route it back to its earlier status.

  5. Cancellation options for photoduplication orders

    Have a Reason for Cancellation drop-down option on the photoduplication ribbon's Cancel button, similar to the Reason for Cancellation option on the main request ribbon's Cancel button. This would help staff track reasons for cancellation of a duplication order (non-approval, non-payment, researcher changed mind, etc).

  6. Don't clone previous scheduled date when cloning activity requests

    When an activity is cloned, the new requests retain the previous scheduled date. Ideally, the new requests should be updated to include a new scheduled date equal to the begin date of the activity.

  7. Make user merge process more clear

    We would like to keep the option of not clearing users when merging accounts. Clicking on "merge" on a user should go to that user in the merge list.

    We would like the whole process of merging to be smoother -- it should be possible to start from any status and merge, and it should be easier to find related individuals. Also, if you click "merge" on a certain user, it should start with that user in the list of users.

    The current merge workflow is incredibly confusing.

  8. Create deadline for submitting requests to an activity

    I'd like to close an activity for additional submissions from nonstaff by a certain date. That way I would have adequate time to pull materials and don't need to constantly monitor activities to see if faculty or students added items.

  9. Adjust request limit logic so that photoduplication requests do not count against request limit.

    Requests submitted for photoduplication go to Awaiting Request Processing | Awaiting Order Processing initially. Because the requests hit Awaiting Request Processing, photoduplication requests currently count against a patron's request limit until they are moved into a photoduplication queue.

    Sites should have the option to choose whether photoduplication requests count against a patron's limit.

  10. Opening a request should not affect transaction "Changed Date" if nothing changes with request

    When a staff member opens a transaction record to view, it should not be logged in the history as an update unless something has been edited within the request. Having the transaction date adjusted for every time a request is opened and looked at is misleading and messes up the ability to track request changes properly.

  12. Allow users associated with activities to clone any request associated with an activity

    Add a customization key to let sites determine if users associated with activities should be allowed to clone requests they do not own.

    Many sites create requests on behalf of faculty or other users for the activity. If the request is in the staff person's account rather than the faculty person's account, the faculty person cannot easily re-request that item.

  13. Allow photoduplication requesting via External Request Endpoint (ERE)

    Requests placed via external requesting (especially from ArchivesSpace) are unable to be turned into photoduplication orders. Patrons or staff must clone the request to a copy order, which creates confusion with duplicate requests.

  14. Add a way to mark if this is a user's first time in the reading room

    Once a user is cleared, it is hard for other staff to know if it's that person's first time into the reading room and needs an orientation, etc. It would be great if it could be visually displayed somewhere in the user record or on the sign in table so that it's more obvious to staff.

    We need to know how many sites would use a reference request management system within Aeon, versus having Aeon connect to an existing one. What sort of features are mandatory for it?

  17. More flexibility with multi-site configurations

    This idea came from a list in preparation for the 2015 Aeon User Symposium.

    Better administrative options for configuring multi-site (not single system contact email, individual request limits per repository, Customization Manager for each Reading Room), better email support for multi-site in Aeon and not relying on Outlook rules to forward email to correct repository)

  18. ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin: Ability to hide request button at specific record levels

    Currently, you can configure the "requestable archival record levels" setting in the plugin so that the Aeon request button is disabled at specified record levels in ArchivesSpace. It would be helpful to have the option to completely hide the button at those specified record levels where users cannot make requests.

  19. User email and transaction emails - show in user history

    It would be helpful to see the history of all emails sent to a user in the account history tab even if they are sent from the transaction level.

  20. Allow web alerts to be reordered after posting

    When a web alert is posted, it automatically shows in the web. When a subsequent alert is posted, it automatically appears below the first posted alert. There is no way to reorder Alerts once posted to show any that are the most important at the top.

    Ex: a site could have several alerts posted about hours, requesting, and an exhibit. Then they need to post an alert about a closure. This alert is the most important, but in order for it to appear at the top of the list, all other current alerts have to be set to expire so…
