Lengthen conditional message
The Lending Notes field in OCLC has a character limit of 500 characters, but ILLiad will only put through 255 characters. Would it be possible to increase this?

Automatic pickup reminders
The current addon for this is too specific for one institution's processes. I'd like a simple pickup reminder to be able to be sent from ILLiad without an addon that sends the reminder at a specific number of days after the original notification (regardless of day of week, etc.) and only sends it once and/or on multiples like (value = 3, 3 days after original notification) or (value - 3,10, 3 and 10 days after original notification)

Add a user confirmation check to the WebCirc checkout process
It's easy for a high-volume institution with many student workers at many desks to mistakenly check a book out to a user that is not for the user in front of them. Because the TN# is attached to the user, ILLiad then indicates that the item is checked out to the requesting user when the book may have been given to the wrong user. A simple pop-up during the checkout process confirming the username/ID# of the user the item is being checked out to would help prevent this. (and the ability to undo if necessary)

Improve WebCirc functionality
Allow for WebCirc users (staff) to undo something they did by mistake, for instance, marking an item in transit back to ILL instead of checking it out. And/or add a "are you sure" message when moving a request to in transit that is not already at "checked out to customer"

Allow for more targeted web alerts
Allow for multiple critera for displaying web alerts. We have 23 campuses and I'd like to be able to specify I want (for example) Faculty at One Campus (organization field) to receive an alert but not the Faculty at the other 22 campuses. (and other similar circumstances)

Create a way for ILLiad to export citations associated with their requests directly to RefWorks or another reference manager.
Often users acquire articles first through ILLiad and then decide if they want to use them for their research. The DOI resolver and DOI DSP addon features provide complete citations for our users. It would be helpful if a user could simply export the citation associated with a request directly to a reference manager for their bibliography.

Create a read-only/distributable form of dbc files or the SQL Alias Manager
With SQL Alias Manager 1.3.2 staff with local admin privileges on their desktop or VM’s are no longer able to successfully Set Default (Local Machine) without also requiring Full Control privileges on the folder where the DBC’s reside.
In a shared environment this is an issue because we wouldn't want everyone to have full read/write access to a shared folder where someone could potentially change a dbc file for every staff member. This wasn't an issue with SAM v1.2.2.

Enable exclusion of subdomain for integrated SAML - fix broken Logon as User functionality
Updating to the new integrated SAML prevents staff from utilizing the Logon as User button in the Client without redesigning the web directories.
The key that had been put in place to assist with circumventing proxy folder redirects - StaffProxyWebURL - will not work for integrated SAML sites when it its value is pointed to subdomains, the way it could with EZProxy.
Locally-hosted Shibboleth sites can set requireSession = false to support the Logon to User feature and LDAP and ILLiad Exclusive sites can use the feature without additional adjustments.
This means that sites who implement the integrated SAML are…

Add autofocus to the first field on all ILLiad web forms (request forms, search page, etc.)
It would enhance accessibility if each of the ILLiad 9.1 forms (request forms, search page, new user info, reset password, login, etc.) used the autofocus feature to activate the cursor in the first blank field. See: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_autofocus.asp We're working on adding this manually to our pages, but having it in the pages by default would be better!

Renew Button doesn't immediately reflect new status in the next page
When you click the Renewal button on the ILLiadMainMenu.html page, it takes you to the page that shows all the information about the transaction but even though the status line tells the patron they have placed a renewal, the TransactionStatus still shows Checked Out to Customer, and the Renew button still seems to be active. If you refresh the page, then those update, but it's confusing to the patron.

Ability to select which ILLiad field that RAPID call numbers and locations populate.
We love the electronic links and holdings information that RAPID auto-populates in our ILLiad lending requests, but we currently use our call number and location fields differently in our ILLiad instance. It would be great to be able to decide which fields the links and holdings information from RAPID would populate.

Recalled-overdue OCLC status should move to Awaiting Recall Processing
When a borrowing TN has the OCLC status "Received-Overdue" and is subsequently recalled by the lender, the TN doesn't move. It should change to the Awaiting Recalled Processing queue so that staff knows it was recalled.

Option for selecting queues from a drop-down when creating routing rules
To piggyback off of the case-insensitivity with queue names ideas: https://uservoice.atlas-sys.com/forums/581665-illiad-ideas/suggestions/42375580-case-insensitivity-for-queue-name-and-custom-field. Another option to avoid having errors if a queue name is typed in a routing rule without proper case sensitivity would be to have a way to select queues such as a drop-down menu when creating custom routing rules.

Add hidden fields to request forms for more flexibility
Currently the Status field is the only option for creating unique request forms. It would be nice to be able to have more information to customize request forms. Some of the user information, such as Status or User Info # would be valuable to work with on request forms. If could be queried to hide/add fields based on unique statuses. The data could be in a query parameter or hidden input field on the page.

Book Chapters - Should use Article holdings path instead of Loan holdings path
Book chapter requests use the incorrect custom holdings path; they pull from OCLCILLLoanHoldingsPath instead of OCLCILLArticleHoldingsPath, but the latter is the correct path.

Hard to tell when Editing vs Copying a row in Customization Manager tables
When working in the OpenURLMapping table, we noticed it really is impossible to tell if you're in the "Copy" or "Edit" mode because the ID value doesn't show up in either of them. We'd expect it to show while in Edit mode, but be blank in Copy mode.
In general, when working with a table in the customization manager, it gets very confusing when you think you hit Copy but then worry you may have hit Edit instead since the opened row says "Edit Row" either way. If there was some way to indicate better whether you were in Copy…

API method to get requests based on other parameters besides User
Extend the Web API to include methods that will return data of requests made on parameter like RequestType and RequestDate. This would enable the interfacing of ILLiad data with other database systems.
