Update FAQ section on password reset The default text in the FAQ section says:
"In the event that you forget your password, please contact the
Reference staff at (800) 555-1234. We can then reset your password allowing you access to Aeon. Please change your password once you logon to Aeon."For security purposes, patrons should be encouraged to reset their own password. The default language should be updated to direct the patron to ForgotPassword.html first, then to contact staff if they still need assistance.

Show researcher tags associated with activity requests on ViewActivity.html page. Users would like to see tags added to activity requests on the Activity details page.

Have the Site field set based on the staff user's DBC when creating requests from an Excel If a staff user forgets to include the Site value when creating requests from an Excel file, the Site is set to blank and the requests are not visible to staff. It would be helpful to have the Site value automatically set based on the user's DBC in the same way it is set when single requests are created in the client.

The ability to use the Site Description column in more areas. Right now the new SiteDescription column offers the ability to create and display more detailed site descriptions, but it is limited to web page grids. It would be nice if this column was opened up for use with other page elements.

Update validation message on Keep in Review page to better indicate which field(s) is not validating. Current Keep in Review validation just says "This request is missing required information." It should be updated to know which field is missing required information so it is more clear to patrons whether they just need to choose a scheduled date or if other required information is missing from a request.

2. Replace print call slip button with print request button for staff requests on next step menu We have different templates for patrons and staff. It would be nice to replace the icon in the next step menu with print requests for staff requests.

Support for the Vantiv payment gateway The University of Chicago has switched to Vantiv credit card processing and would like Aeon to support that payment gateway.

Add integration for requesting from Hyrax UCSC is in the process of creating a new Hyrax based Digital Asset Management System to replace our current system, CONTENTdm. We're at the stage that we're starting to look at implementing Aeon within the new DAMS and would like to option to add a request link to Hyrax. http://hyr.ax/

Keyboard Shortcut to close forms It would be helpful to have a keyboard shortcut command to close the active form to keep the clicking to a minimum when working with large groups of requests. It would also be very helpful for the reading room check-in process.

Ability to search on a single day other than today or yesterday using custom search When creating a custom search in the staff client, if you are searching on a date field, currently there is no way to search on a single day unless it is today or yesterday. Sometimes I need to create a query of all requests that came in on a specific day, for example last Friday, and there is not a way to easily do this unless you select a range of days and then filter the results.

Integrate Aeon activities with course reserves Sites would like the ability to integrate activities with course reserves software. Specifically make materials used in classes visible in Blackboard, etc.
Also, a means to manage Ares/Aeon interoperability, specifically the ability to scan and place images of special collections materials on Reserve (sending records between to two systems) for class assignments, so as to not overwhelm the reading room when a large class is assigned to do something in SPEC as an assignment.

Ability to see if a user is signed into the reading room from request grid We would love a way to see if a user is signed in from the request grids so we can prioritize our paging, etc.

Support custom database users in the Aeon Installer System administrators would like to be able to create and manage their own database users which isn't currently supported by the Aeon installer.

Have the Aeon web application send an email when an error occurs. It could be helpful if the Aeon web application reported errors by sending an email using a new template. This could inform admins of errors they may otherwise be unaware of in a timely manner.

Problem with "Item Cleanup with the System Manager" When the "DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup" key is set, the System Manager is not JUST changing the photoduplication status to finished for the orders whose files it has deleted, but it sends all the orders whose photoduplication status is delivered and photoduplication status date is over DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup to finished status.
The cleanup process should be really driven by the name of files deleted by the system manager. The system manager should really leave other orders alone, no matter what status they have or how long they have that status. Otherwise,

Remove flags from multiple requests at once We'd love to have the ability to "batch remove" flags from multiple requests in one action. Ideally this would provide an option to either 1) remove all flags from all selected requests, or 2) choose which flags to remove from selected requests.

Have option to add fields from ReadingRoomHistory table to the User Record Detail window Have an option to add fields from ReadingRoomHistory table to the User Record Detail tab layout, so that staff can quickly see the last time a user was signed in to a selected Reading Room.
