Add additional Aeon fields for Z39.50 mapping
Boston Public Library is importing their item barcode from their Polaris catalog into Aeon via Z39.50. They would like to be able to map the barcode value to the Aeon Item Number field, which is not currently possible. There is also an ILLiad UserVoice asking for this feature: https://uservoice.atlas-sys.com/forums/581665-illiad-ideas/suggestions/39458122-add-additional-result-mapping-options-for-z39-50

Aeon client - custom search using 'any of' does not allow for editing of criteria
Boston Public Library created a custom search based on requests being at one of several identified transaction statuses. After building the search, they realized they wanted to omit one of the selected transaction statuses. There was no way to do this. They had to delete the search and rebuild it from scratch.

Add functionality to display a field (including custom fields) when RequestFor is populated with an activity.
When a user submitting a request selects an activity from the Request For dropdown, allow additional fields to display to ask for Date Needed or other data related to activity requests. This relates specifically to sites using appointments, where the appointment fields are hidden when an activity is selected.

Appointments: Remove start and stop time fields
The University of Baltimore requires appointments for patron requesting, but would like to remove the start and stop fields from the appointment form. This will allow staff to have more flexibility with controlling access to the reading room. The appointment configuration fields in the customization manager are not fined-tuned enough to allow for per-visit/per-case flexibility.

Allowing users to toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar
It would be helpful is users could toggle between reading rooms in the appointment booking calendar. It's confusing to have to select which reading room first then bring up the calendar. It should just be in one place. Thanks!

Appointments - different configurations for different request forms
Boston Public Library would like the ability to have certain request forms, based on the format of the requested material, require longer lead times for appointment scheduling that are different from the reading room's typical appointment settings. The University of Pittsburgh would like to have some web request forms that are intended to be used by staff who don't have access to the Aeon client but need to submit requests for preservation, to not require appointments, while the other patron web request forms do require appointments.

Add -force option to Aeon Server update scripts
Add -force option to Aeon Server update scripts to make the update scripts download and install the latest, no matter what.
A couple of times I've run into instances where the update scripts failed for some reason, but then subsequent runs state no updates are available, yet some of the files have not been updated.

Add "open" exception type to appointment scheduling tab
Allow staff to set an "open" exception for cases where the reading room is open. For example: if the reading room is open one Saturday per month, it would be preferable to set the open hours for Saturday and check a box to indicate the library is closed. But then add an "open" exception to indicate which Saturday is open rather than adding exceptions for all closed days.

Form-specific Status text
Not all requests are the same, so not all web forms are the same semantically, so the status text on a form may benefit from being customized to the form semantics or origin. Right now, SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest in Customization Manager handle status lines for all requests. If we want to have different text for, say, the Photoduplication form from the Monograph form, we have to have empty values for SLShowRequest and SLEditRequest, and to add text to each form's HTML file. This also means adding text to each form's HTML file that should in fact get the same text.…

ArchivesSpace - Aeon Client Addon - allow for custom default repository selection
The University of Pittsburgh has a number of repositories. The repositories are sorted in identifier/creation order, and the first repository is considered the default repository when a staff person logs into ASpace in any browser. In Pittsburgh's case, the default repository has to constantly be changed to another repository that is more frequently used. There is an open ticket for ArchivesSpace about this: https://archivesspace.atlassian.net/browse/ANW-630?jql=text%20~%20%22default%20repository%22. Would it be possible to direct the addon to select a repository by default, saving staff from having to perform the manual steps?

Categories in the Process Ribbon menu
Is it possible to add the ability to categorize items in the Process Ribbon menu on the top of the dashboard screen in the client? Much like one can define categories of queues/statuses in the Routing menu, can we also create sub-menus in the Process Ribbon? We have quite a number of statuses we have added to the Process Ribbon menu, and it would be helpful to categorize them for our different locations.

More flexibility for multi-site instances that use appointments and need to transfer requests to another site
The University of Pittsburgh needs to be able to temporarily transfer requests to another site in order to have that site pull material. That site will pull the material, and then route the request back to the original site. However, since both sites have their own reading rooms, the scheduled appointment in one reading room prevents the transfer of the request to another sites. Both of these sites can view each other's requests.
If we configure each site to have both reading rooms, the transfer works. However, on the web side, with this configuration, patrons can then choose one location,…

Allow a patron to copy the primary mailing address information to the secondary address fields
The University of Pittsburgh uses both the main address and secondary address blocks on the registration pages for their patrons. For non-affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/work addresses; for affiliates, they want to capture permanent and local/campus addresses. They would like for some kind of button that allows the patron to automatically populate the secondary address fields if the address was the same for both address blocks - similar to shipping and billing addresses on e-commerce sites.
