Patron web interface - list researcher proxies for patron
Purdue University would like for the patron to be able to view a list of other patrons for which they are proxies. This was requested while discussing the 'Available to Proxies' checkbox on the 'Schedule Appointment' form.

Change custom batch process via staff template
We have a lot of custom batch processes set up, to the point where the list of options can be unwieldly to look at. We would love to be able to customize which batch processes appear for a specific staff template, so that staff are only seeing the options they need to use.

Export appointments from Aeon client as calendar files
The University of Tulsa would like the ability to export appointment information from the Aeon client and add it to their department calendar (they use Google) where they record other non-Aeon appointments. (I can also see this benefiting another library that shares their reading room with university archives, which doesn't use Aeon.) For now, UTulsa will CC the person in charge of managing the department calendar whenever the Aeon appointment confirmation is sent (which includes the appointment details).

Allow for hyperlinks in the unrequestable alert in ArchivesSpace plugin
We'd like to be able to point the user to guidance on how to submit requests from ArchivesSpace to Aeon from the finding aid by adding a hyperlink to the unrequestable alert in ArchivesSpace that leads to one of our getting started guides.

Email notifications for new requests
Would it be possible to add notifications to staff via email when new requests come in? The pop-up notification that happens now is not always useful for staff, since often staff are not at their desks - they are in the stacks or elsewhere, and do not see the notification for awhile.

Activities - incorporate some course reserve-type functions
Purdue University has a number of classes (which will be Aeon activities) where students go to the reading room to look at course materials on their own time. The students will first make an appointment in the Aeon patron web interface. Then when they arrive onsite, the requests will be cloned from the activity and checked out to the student. Purdue would like for there to be more visible connectivity/relationships between the activity record, the appointment, and the cloned requests. This information would be helpful for reporting purposes, and will also show how classes are used in Archives and Special…

Dynamic statuses for remaining days to view uploaded scans
Boston Public Library would like for there to be a dynamic status line that lets patrons know how many days they have left to download an electronically delivered scan on the Aeon web interface. There should be a dynamic status for each available download if there are more that one available at the same time.

Confirm that a patron has read an email sent from Aeon
Purdue University would like for Aeon to confirm that a patron has received and read an email sent from Aeon, especially with the Item Delivered email that contains the information for accessing reproductions.

Ability to remove the fax option from the NotificationMethod field
A few libraries have requested this option. They would like to remove the fax option from the standard NotificationMethod drop-down. These options are hardcoded and cannot be controlled in the custom drop-down table in the customization manager. We did create a custom field with the necessary configurations, and updated the relevant registration web pages. One library, New York State Archives, is experiencing bugginess with this custom field because they have an unusual workflow for creating patrons. Purdue University, University of Tulsa, Cal State LA, and University of Washington also asked for the fax option to be removed.

Allow for custom fields to be added to patron appointment request
California State University L.A. would like to have a drop-down field on the appointment form for the patron to choose the purpose of their appointment. They don't want the field to be on the request form, because the patron would have to select the purpose for each item request for that appointment if the field was required. And they have many returning researchers, so they don't want the field to be on the user registration, as it is more specific to the appointment/reason for the visit.

Automated routing of requests once Appointment is confirmed
In the new Appointments confirmation process, requests still need to be routed to Appointment Confirmed (for example), and since there is no Route menu on the Appointments window (I think that's another enhancement), it's some extra steps for staff.
Would it be possible to have the option so when an appointment is confirmed using the Confirm button on the Appointment window, all associated requests are automatically routed to Appointment Confirmed? (Kind of like how hitting Print Callslip routes requests automatically into Item Being Paged.)

Length of appointment should accurately reflect available length on each day
Purdue University allows for all day appointments, so their longest time span is 9 hours. However, there is one day where they open for 8 hours. Their hours are set up correctly for each day, but the "9 hours" option still displays on the 8-hour day, most likely from the Maximum Appointment Length setting. If the patron selects the "9 hours' option, there are no available appointment times to choose from in the Appointment Time field.

Appointments - besides Status-specific appointment settings, allow for other fields to determine appointment settings
New York State Archives would like for other fields, specifically the Organization field, to be another field, like Status, that would allow for granular appointment settings. Patrons from some organizations will need more flexibility for appointment availability based on their research needs and schedules.

ASpace request fulfillment plugin: allow customizable :restrictions_message to be configured per Local Access Restrictions Type
Peabody Essex Museum suggested it would be useful to have different restrictions messages per Local Access Restriction Types as the restrictions vary and they would like the messaging to be different.

Pop-up Addon Allow for more than one instance
The new Pop-up Addon is great. A good enhancement would be to allow for more than one type of pop-up based on different fields, rather than only being able to have one.

Mapping ArchivesSpace "container profile" name to Aeon requests via the ArchivesSpace/Aeon Request Fulfillment Plugin
The University of Southern California Libraries would like the ArchivesSpace Aeon Fulfillment Plugin to pull each container profile "name" from ArchivesSpace into new Aeon requests made via the plugin. The only value that we would like to map from the ArchivesSpace container profile record is the container profile "name" (title).
Currently, ArchivesSpace container profile values are not listed as available options in the Aeon OpenURLMapping table.

Convert Department field to free-text dropdown
Department field is a dropdown by default, but most sites would prefer a free-text field and instead use an ItemInfo field. Allow Department field to be coded as dropdown or free-text in web and convert Department database field to dropdown/free-text (like Activity Type and Location fields)

Ability to text patrons
The University of Washington would like to send text messages to patrons about a variety of notifications from Aeon, provided that the patron has requested to be texted. There is an existing UserVoice here specifically to send appointment notifications: https://uservoice.atlas-sys.com/forums/568075-aeon-ideas/suggestions/44973538-opt-in-text-message-reminders-for-appointments

Changing client passwords -- Add support for disclosing requirements
Currently, when changing a staff password, the interface presents a person only with a field for entering the password, another for confirming it, a submit button, and a cancel button. If the password doesn't meet complexity requirements as set in Customization Manager, an error is thrown, but only with the message "Password does not meet staff password requirements".
There should be a customizable way to convey to staff resetting their password what the complexity requirements are, both with the initial reset form and with the error message. (Not just reposting the regex, if that crosses anyone's mind, because reading regex…

Submit requests for photoduplication from ILLiad/Aeon integration to Awaiting Request Processing instead of Submitted by User
Can implement a routing rule, but this behavior should be built in to minimize confusion. Staff are not in the habit of checking Submitted by User for any other request types.
