Aeon Appointments: Add a way to handle schedule changes in advance
Ex: We are going to have renovations this summer and we will shift the Wednesday hours from 11-6, with lunch recess from 1-2 to 10am-5pm with lunch from 12-1. I want to only change the calendar for the 3 months of summer. My concern is that if I change the official reading room schedule it will impact the availability in the fall and other people planning their future visits to the library outside of our altered summer schedule.
The only current workaround for this is to update the open hours and then create exceptions for all dates that do not currently fit that schedule. This…

The University of Pittsburgh would like for the Appointment Scheduling tab in the customization manager to display the Open Hours as 12-hour times instead of in military time.

Problem with "Item Cleanup with the System Manager"
When the "DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup" key is set, the System Manager is not JUST changing the photoduplication status to finished for the orders whose files it has deleted, but it sends all the orders whose photoduplication status is delivered and photoduplication status date is over DaysBeforeElectronicDeliveryCleanup to finished status.
The cleanup process should be really driven by the name of files deleted by the system manager. The system manager should really leave other orders alone, no matter what status they have or how long they have that status. Otherwise,
1. if somehow an order was moved to the delivered status and its…3 votes -

Ability to search on a single day other than today or yesterday using custom search
When creating a custom search in the staff client, if you are searching on a date field, currently there is no way to search on a single day unless it is today or yesterday. Sometimes I need to create a query of all requests that came in on a specific day, for example last Friday, and there is not a way to easily do this unless you select a range of days and then filter the results.

More flexibility for multi-site instances that use appointments and need to transfer requests to another site
The University of Pittsburgh needs to be able to temporarily transfer requests to another site in order to have that site pull material. That site will pull the material, and then route the request back to the original site. However, since both sites have their own reading rooms, the scheduled appointment in one reading room prevents the transfer of the request to another sites. Both of these sites can view each other's requests.
If we configure each site to have both reading rooms, the transfer works. However, on the web side, with this configuration, patrons can then choose one location,…

Add functionality to display a field (including custom fields) when RequestFor is populated with an activity.
When a user submitting a request selects an activity from the Request For dropdown, allow additional fields to display to ask for Date Needed or other data related to activity requests. This relates specifically to sites using appointments, where the appointment fields are hidden when an activity is selected.

Appointment Display
It would be great if calendar could show both morning and afternoon appointments. It is very confusing for researchers who are scheduling multiple appointments.

Appointments - besides Status-specific appointment settings, allow for other fields to determine appointment settings
New York State Archives would like for other fields, specifically the Organization field, to be another field, like Status, that would allow for granular appointment settings. Patrons from some organizations will need more flexibility for appointment availability based on their research needs and schedules.

Appointments - different configurations for different request forms
Boston Public Library would like the ability to have certain request forms, based on the format of the requested material, require longer lead times for appointment scheduling that are different from the reading room's typical appointment settings. The University of Pittsburgh would like to have some web request forms that are intended to be used by staff who don't have access to the Aeon client but need to submit requests for preservation, to not require appointments, while the other patron web request forms do require appointments.

Appointments - in the web interface, relocate the Appointment Name field to below start/stop boxes
This request is from Boston Public Library. When the patron schedules an appointment, after selecting the box of time, the appointment window appears where the patron can enter an appointment name and start and stop times. They would like for the Appointment Name field to be listed after the start and stop time boxes because the time boxes are required fields, so they would like the patron's attention on those fields. The Appointment Name is not required, and it is a little confusing to the patron as to what the patron should name the appointment.

Add "open" exception type to appointment scheduling tab
Allow staff to set an "open" exception for cases where the reading room is open. For example: if the reading room is open one Saturday per month, it would be preferable to set the open hours for Saturday and check a box to indicate the library is closed. But then add an "open" exception to indicate which Saturday is open rather than adding exceptions for all closed days.
