Create separate NewUserRegistration email templates for RemoteAuth and AeonAuth Information provided to different types of users may need to be different when confirming registration. Different email templates would allow sites to provide the necessary details to affiliate vs non-affiliate users. Should include a key to determine whether the same or different emails should be sent to patrons.

Aeon - ArchivesSpace client addon - request for more field mapping options The University of Arkansas has requested the following mapping options for the ArchivesSpace client addon for Aeon: (1) Map "conditions governing use" note to the Aeon EADNumber field; (2) map location of top container information to the Aeon ItemSubLocation field; (3) for agents that are creators, pull the name from the Sort Name field instead of the Primary Name field (which often contains only the surname); (4) Ability to import the child and grandchild container type and indicator fields (this is not included with the ArchivalObjectInstance field in the addon); (5) Map component identifier to Aeon ItemCallNumber field; and (6)…

Allow staff to attach documents to emails sent from Aeon client Staff would like to be able to send PDF documents, invoices, etc to patrons by attaching the document to an email sent from the client.

Check Out Item/ Reshelve Item / On HOLD Would be more efficient to scan TN barcodes directly into Check Out Item/ Reshelve Item / On HOLD fields that can be located at the top of the Homepage without searching for the request first. Would be even more beneficial to not have to click on a Check Out Item/Reshelve Item/On Hold icon if we could just scan directly into a field and that is how the request would be automatically processed (without clicking on icons)

Retain activity Completed status if other ActivityStatus options are removed from CustomDropDown By default, the Aeon ActivityStatus includes the options Created, In Progress, Fulfilled, and Completed. Only In Progress and Fulfilled can be changed/removed. However, if both are removed, the Completed option no longer appears. The Completed option should always be present, like Created.

Allow users associated with activities to clone any request associated with an activity Add a customization key to let sites determine if users associated with activities should be allowed to clone requests they do not own.
Many sites create requests on behalf of faculty or other users for the activity. If the request is in the staff person's account rather than the faculty person's account, the faculty person cannot easily re-request that item.

Add unique tracking entry when patron has downloaded electronically delivered file No tracking entry is added when files are downloaded from the user's account after photoduplication delivery. Add entry in tracking table to indicate file was downloaded and make visible in both web and staff client tracking tables for each transaction.

Allow partial anonymizing of user data and request history. This would allow Aeon sites to anonymize part of a users data/request history to protect their privacy while also maintaining statistics long term. For example: an active users request history may extend beyond the 5 year data collection period maintained for audit. The user would retain their access to Aeon, but all requests prior to the 5 year collection period could be anonymized. Allowing the site to maintain their statistics and ensure user privacy.

Ability to import affiliate user records into a validation table The University of Baltimore also uses ILLiad and Ares. They import their affiliate user records into a validation table. When a new affiliate user logs into the web interface, their info from the validation table populates the registration form. They would like this functionality in Aeon.

ArchivesSpace - Aeon Fulfillment Plugin: Ability to hide request button at specific record levels Currently, you can configure the "requestable archival record levels" setting in the plugin so that the Aeon request button is disabled at specified record levels in ArchivesSpace. It would be helpful to have the option to completely hide the button at those specified record levels where users cannot make requests.

Rename Taiwan on registration form We had a patron bring this issue to our attention. Right now, when a patron registers in Aeon, the country description for Taiwan is "Taiwan, Province of China." As the patron stated, "I’m aware that many in America are not aware of the political sensitivities around this issue, but at the moment we are still an independent country (which most of us in Taiwan prefer!), so to say we are a province of China is untrue and politically incorrect! Perhaps you can make a note of this to your web designer!"

Add transaction status photoduplication status name columns to bundle in staff layout template Currently, only the Transaction and Photoduplication status IDs appear in the bundle grid. It would be useful for staff to see the full status name, as most are not familiar with the ID.
Additionally, any changes made to this grid should save to the layout template (at individual and template edit levels).

Add electronic delivery undelete functionality HTML page is available for this but no button or transaction-related functionality exists to allow for users to undelete any delivered files if desired (before expiration).

When performing search in web, retain selected radio button (active vs all) When performing a search using the web search, if a user selects the radio option to Search All, it automatically resets to Active after the search results display. Should be set to retain selection.

Add option to search for user by Organization in client User and Request search Some libraries receive requests frequently by members of certain organizations like news media, law firms, etc. It would be useful to search by Organization and return results lists for users associated with that organization or requests made by users with that organization. This would help when staff know someone from an organization made a request but they aren't sure who the user is.
