Default OpenURL journal genre to article form instead of loan form Most examples of OpenURL with the "journal" genre are still article requests versus a request for a loan of the entire journal. Data would not be lost if we use the article request form instead.

Rapid Local Sending Automatic Route based on Day of Week and Time It would be helpful if requests sent into Awaiting Rapid Local Request Processing were able to move directly into Awaiting Rapid Local Sending based on time and day parameters based on when the ILL office is closed. For example, request pushed into this queue after 500PM Central or on Saturday and Sunday would move automatically

WMS and ILLiad integration for patron account Could you integrate WMS and ILLiad so patrons can see all of their checkouts in one place?
We are now checking out ILL items as temp items in WMS so patrons don't have to log into two separate systems. Unfortunately, that means extra work for ILL staff to keep info updated in both systems. It would be great if ILLiad and WMS could talk to each other.

bposner@gc.cuny.edu Create/enable a status for a category of users or a specific user be set so that they can only request copies and not loans/returnable. (This could be of use for people who are not local.)

Include ISIL as supported symbol type in Odyssey protocol. Odyssey currently supports the symbol types of OCLC, DOC (Docline), ISO and RAPID. At ReShare, we would love it if the schema were updated to include ISIL symbols so that we could transfer files for non-returnables. Please support ISIL (ISO15511:2009) as a library symbol taxonomy for Odyssey. (https://webstore.ansi.org/standards/iso/iso155112009)

ILLiad Server Updater Enhance the Updater to remove older .replaced files or do not create them to start with since all older dll and exe files are already in C:\illiad\setup. The .replaced files take space and make it harder to find the correct files when troubleshooting

Button to route to Partial/Incorrect queue in Odyssey window It would be great to have a button to route requests to the Received Partial/Incorrect queue, in the Electronic Delivery window that appears as part of Awaiting Odyssey Processing. Currently, one must delete the Odyssey file then manually route the request to that queue when the situation applies

Improve Error handling in Electronic Delivery Utility (EDU) to keep cascading errors from occurring. When the EDU loses connection to a network location where files are stored due to a timeout or issue, the EDU continues to try and process causing a loop of error messages that cause the EDU to crash. See ticket# 38285 on 3/14 screenshots for error. Please enhance to report the loss of the connection and stop the EDU from continuing. Matt did not think we could re-establish the connection so I don't know if restarting the EDU is an option but Matt added
"we could maybe better handle the errors when it can't make open files and stop trying…

Clear OCLC search filters when a request is closed When searching for harder to find items in OCLC through ILLiad, we often use the custom search or set filters in the Limits box. The search terms and filters stick from request to request. The worst problem is that if I filter by year, this doesn't appear obviously in the limits, but when I search the next request by ISSN/ISBN nothing comes up. I have to remember to open Limits and clear the year from the filter.
It would be so helpful if these fields would just reset with every request. There isn't any case where I want the same…

SAML multiple attributes (allow for multiple and to list those which are allowed) We have come to understand that ILLiad's SAML module does not support SAML2 attributes sent by the Identity Provider with multiple values. These would take the basic form in the SAML assertion XML like:
<saml:Attribute Name="multiAttributeName">
<saml:AttributeValue>Value 1/saml:AttributeValue
<saml:AttributeValue>Value 2/saml:AttributeValue
<saml:AttributeValue>Value 3/saml:AttributeValue
/saml:AttributeIt is described on pg 31 of the spec https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/56776/sstc-saml-core-errata-2.0-wd-07.pdf#page=31
As this is a common method of delivering data structures inside of SAML attributes especially when specifying items like user affiliations or group memberships, we request that support be added in the future to read and operate on multi-value/list attributes within the RemoteAuthValidation table.

ReShare Addon create a more robust breadcrumb trail When the ILLiad ReShare addon creates a request in ReShare, there isn't much in the way of tracking after the request is submitted. We suggest adding notes to the ILLiad TN anytime the addon takes action on the request so there is a static history of what actions the addon has taken. That way if the request enters a different fulfillment method, such as OCLC, then there is preservation of the past ReShare request number and any other actions that the addon has taken. Otherwise, this information is lost (the ReShare Request ID is overwritten in the ILL number field).

Ability to COPY and PASTE in User notes field This will allow us to copy and paste notes when we are merging accounts or when we need to copy and paste notes to multiple accounts (within families, etc.)

Increased Granularity in Web Circ Permissions by User I would like to be able to restrict available actions in Web Circ by user. I would like to restrict our circ desk account from being able to do anything other than check out items. I think essentially I'd like the customization keys to be available on a by-user basis.

Better tracking of OA/DSP/non-standard article delivery in Borrowing Web Reports Turnaround time Borrowing Web Reports don't have the ability to capture requests filled through OA Addon/DSP. It's important for not just these to be able to be captured and included in statistics, but also for us to separate these and be able to identify these as opposed to other material that's uploaded and delivered. Improve functionality of the patron's search results webpage We would like to see improvements to the ILLiad search results webpage. These improvements would benefit all users, but particularly those users with a large number of requests or lengthy user history. Some suggestions provide by users:
A method to reorder results in ascending and descending order.
A method to limit/filter results by various values, such as Document Type.
A method to limit/filter results by date received and/or date finished.
A method to sort requests alphabetically, such as by title or author. Thanks!

Support copying lending request data from Docline web browser ILLiad used to have a feature that would allow us to copy the Docline new lending requests page from a web browser and import them into ILLiad.
With recent changes to Google account security not working within ILLiad, and Microsoft accounts suddenly not being recognized by Docline, it would be great to be able to copy the page from a web browser. We do not have access to the other login options offered by Docline/NLM
As it stands, our only option is to copy each request line-by-line into a blank ILLiad form.

Match on TN in the Electronic Delivery Process form Relais FTP process does not allow the inclusion of the ILL Number from Docline requests (I assume OCLC requests either) so the received xml file only has the DocumentID for Sender and Receiver. The Electronic Delivery Process does not match the file to the request on the TN even though it displays in the form. Please enhance to match the received Odyssey file to the request by the TN if the ILL number is not included in the xml file.

Replace removed NotWantedAfter field and associated dropdown calendar on default web forms The NotWantedAfter field was removed as a default from the 9.1 ILLiad web pages. This should be be replaced, with the corresponding hidden field removed, and a dropdown calendar should appear when clicking in the field box, as in previous versions of ILLiad. This feature was appreciated by our patrons and desired for the 9.1 pages. (write up by Kerry).
