Custom search to retrieve PDFs on the server that haven't been viewed A custom search will currently retrieve requests “Delivered to Web” that HAVE been viewed, but not those that have haven’t. Being able to quickly retrieve a list of those not viewed and highlighting those delivered more than 3 days earlier would facilitate sending a customized reminder notification while the PDFs would still be useful to patrons. The reminders could be sent once or twice per week.
Alternately, modifying the Electronic Delivery Reminder Server addon with an option to send the reminder x times per week (rather than each day after the first reminder is sent) could achieve the same results…

Have Lender Select box consider Odyssey and email addresses too Atlas support said recently that only the shipping and billing address fields are checked for incoming ILL requests. Libraries often change their contact info. and it would be best if the system is checking for that too in order to avoid outdated Lender records in the Client and misdeliveries

Add semicolon as option for separating multiple email addresses When sending emails to multiple recipients, ILLiad functionality should be expanded to allow both commas and semicolons, as semicolons are the known character for the function with other email programs/ API.

Printing a individual invoice I would like the ability to print an invoice right away for the libraries that email their request and ask that we attach an invoice to the request. Most of the time these are specialty or international libraries that rarely or don't use OCLC or Docline. This would also be good for individual users ( former Lomsone Doc Users) who are not part of our university or our medical association.

Enable automatic Odyssey coversheets for borrowing There is currently a function that allows a custom coversheet to be inserted automatically before Odyssey sending for Borrowing & Document Delivery, but not for Lending. It would be great from the lending library’s standpoint since we’d be more compliant in terms of copyright & licenses if we could include the Title 17 notice there, and any usage restrictions. It would also be great for the borrowing library’s standpoint since Odyssey is a more direct delivery method than Article Exchange

Create a Sandbox Environment for testing software integraton We need a sandbox environment to test integration with other systems. When we migrated to FOLIO, lack of a sandbox for ILLiad was a barrier to fixing problems ahead of time.

Create a new status for 'PDF Viewed' to work in conjunction with the current TransactionStatus 'Delivered to Web' We are trying to improve communication with patrons regarding electronic delivery of articles, especially when they have many items displayed in the Electronically Received Articles section of the web interface. We want users to know at a glance - which articles are available AND whether they have already been viewed. Including the date to be deleted (e.g. via the 'Expires' tag) would also be helpful, but my immediate request is to make information from the History table ('PDF Viewed') available for display. Make OCLC Local Holdings visible from ILLiad When ordering items via OCLC from the Awaiting Request Processing queue, there are many times (especially with Internet Resource format type) where a list of symbols is showing, but no coverage information at all. It appears you can log into WorldShare's online interface directly and expose the holdings information there. Please make this info. visible in ILLiad so we don't have to leave the program or make faulty lender symbol strings. This is really not efficient and leads to wasted time.

Update Docline scripts to include fill in to Docline's Place Request by Journal UI Not all requests placed in Docline have a PMID. We must use the Place Request by Journal UI (ISSN, NLM, OCLC). This is different than the Manual function in ILLiad. ILLiad does not have a script to fill the citation information in to this request form thus we must type the citation, requestor, and TN number in to the form manually. Because not everything ordered in Docline has a PMID, this is an essential function needed to improve our workflows. A script is needed to facilitate this function.

Prevent the submission of auto-truncated data in request forms Summary by KAK: There isn't anything to indicate to users that their submissions will be truncated when they enter too many characters in request form fields. We've created a workaround by using the WebValidation table for PhotoJournalInclusivePages with a validation of ^$|^.{0,30}$ to represent the field is not required and may only be submitted when its character count is less than 30.

Allow borrowing library to update OCLC Status to RECIEVED if still in CONSIDERING status It would be really helpful if borrowing libraries could update the OCLC Status to Received if the lending library forgets to update the request to Shipped, but the borrower receives the item anyway. We then have to contact the lending library and hope that they update the status to Shipped before the request expires. Even having a warning message pop up in ILLiad when trying to check the item in that says the status is CONSIDERING would be incredibly helpful.

Allow Address number field change When a new lender address is created, an address number is automatically assigned and that number cannot be changed. Please allow that field to be edited in case we want to re-arrange the order of our addresses. Some addresses are used a lot more often and we want that to be 1 or 2 but cannot right now. Thank you.

Allow Request Notes to be Edited I often need to delete notes I have just added to a request because I realize that there is a typo or I want to add to the note. It would be very helpful to be able to just edit the existing note rather than having to delete it and add a new note.

Improvement to Borrowing Turnaround Times Report Currently, the report is generated with Articles, Loans, Overall, and Overall w/ Manually Processed tabs. The Articles, Loans, and Overall tabs are generated with the data of transactions that are automatically processed. What we need is a way to generate this same report with all of the articles regardless of automatic or manual processing (same with loans). With this data being lumped into the Overall w/ Manually Processed tab it is unhelpful when trying to discover total articles or loan turnaround times (not both together).

Make "terminal" statuses customizable We have some statuses that are effectively terminal (eg "Supplied via consortial system"). However, these will remain in patrons' Active Requests in the web interface forever, unless they are moved to Request Finished or Cancelled by ILL Staff. It would be great to be able to add to what statuses are considered no-longer-active.

Unfilled request process not canceling the OCLC request Check for any conditionals in the history. If a condition is denied from the last lender, the request will automatically update to unfilled. If the user then immediately creates a new OCLC request from the open request, the process to remove the existing OCLC request will not run. The work-around is to close the request after responding to the condition and open the request from the Awaiting Unfilled Processing queue. This behavior is similar to the Awaiting Request Processing queue where the options to create an OCLC request will only appear if the request is opened from the queue.

Celebration Addon or Feature Allow ILLiad staff users to set celebration triggers prompting ILLiad to display animated fireworks or other celebratory image. Set a default trigger of 1,000,000 transactions. Other ideas might be for when queues are cleared or other numbers of transaction totals in each module have been reached. This feature request is in celebration of Auburn University Libraries (AAA) reaching 1 MILLION transactions in ILLiad on 8/17/23.
