We need to know how many sites would use a reference request management system within Aeon, versus having Aeon connect to an existing one. What sort of features are mandatory for it?

Automate activities procedures
We have gone through a few iterations of methods for handling just these situations, because cloning to all individual users for what was essentially course reserves (or other similar Activities) was quite cumbersome. Here's what we've devised, and it's working pretty well for us these days: 1. When materials are being used in the class session, all requests are routed to "Item Checked Out to Activity." 2. When the class session is over but we suspect (or know in advance) that students will return to the reading room for further consultation, we route all the requests to a custom queue,…

Know if a staff user is no longer signed into the client and route any open requests back to previous status.
Use the System Manager’s StaffSession processing to identify transactions that are marked as in processing by a user that no longer has the Client open. Then route those back to their previous state to present requests being stranded.

Option for Collection Access Permissions
Need a way to control if a patron has permission to view certain collections. Needs to be visible by researcher and staff.

Increase flexiblity of the item check out security prompt
Most sites like this feature but end up disabling it since it gets annoying with all the staff requesting happening in Aeon. Can we enhance this feature to be more flexible? Ideally it would ignore requests from staff since they are never signed into the reading room but still give warnings for patrons not signed in.

Distinguish between the Route button that displays the transaction status options and the Route button that displays photoduplication status
The two route buttons are identical and it makes them confusing.
