Move ILLiad to cloud
It'd be great to replicate the great ILLiad on the web so that staff can work remotely.

Have the Patron ID number viewable on the request page.
Currently, you can only see the patron's name, address, status, delivery methods on the patron tab in Borrowing. You have to use the "View User" button to access the patron's ID number. This would help eliminate a step when you need the ID number for accessing library accounts and fines in an ILS.

Include more high contrast skins in ILLiad
Customer requests more high contrast skin options for ILLiad. "in general if there is a dark background a light font is better. Dark on dark is difficult to read." More details and pictures in ticket 8724.

Title in Borrowing Check In from Lending Library
From the Check In from Lending Library screen you can update most of the information before checking in. For some reason you can't currently change the title without opening the request. This causes any changes that have been made to the request (due date, restrictions, special notes) to be lost. I need to change the title regularly to remove notes to the lending library that we often put in the title field. Being able to delete these notes from the Check In from Lending Library screen would be very helpful!

Adjust note fields to fit content
I always have to adjust the column width of the notes in ILLiad so that I can actually read the notes. ILLiad should adjust the width automatically to fit the content so that the Note Date and Added By fields are only wide enough for that data and the actual Note field is wide enough to allow staff to read the notes. Specifically I need to look at the notes when returning borrowed items, but this feature would be helpful on every screen.

When choosing a lender
When choosing a lender when hovering over a symbol have the state pop up along with the Universities name. Will expedite loans when we can choose institutions within a specific area.

Improve retrieval of Alma holdings when there are multiple volumes.
ALMA doesn't have holdings for each volume when there are multiple volumes, so in z39.50 only the most recent volume is pulled up in the search. Is there a way for ILLiad to handle this better? If not within z39.50, then via an addon maybe? (This is from ticket 8080)

Ability to upload request from Reference Citation service
Our researchers often use Reference Citation services such as RefWorks, EndNote or Zotero to create bibliographies. We would like for them to have the ability to upload a batch/list of items from a service like this or from an excel spreadsheet.

Proxy User Functionality
We have teaching assistants/administrative assistants/research assistants who are asked to request materials on behalf of an other ILLiad user. It would be helpful if a proxy account could be created for these assistants to create the request, but for the primary user to be responsible for the item (loan) and notified of delivery (article).

Find a way to remove duplicate odyssey articles
Sometimes folks have lots of extra articles cluttering up the Odyssey Received folder. Would be nice to have some way of identifying duplicates and removing after a user specified time.

ILLiad / Aeon integration - ability to send a note with the request
When sending a request from ILLiad to Aeon, we can only send the request and information in the fields. It would greatly improve communication if we could add a Note to the request when sending it (similar to a Conditional or Cancellation message).

Groups functionality--tie group with Lender address records
It would be helpful if assigning a library to particular group would also update values in the lender address record such as the Default Shipping Method or Billing Categories or Priority Shipping.

Ability to Delay Notifications Sent from Awaiting Customer Contact queue
For items that are picked up at the same location where items are processed, the In Transit to Pickup location step adds an additional processing step. However, skipping this step means that patron notifications are sent immediately and often staff do not have time to finish physical processing before patrons arrive at the desk to pick up items.
Having the ability to set a delay period (e.g. 60 min) between when the request is sent to Awaiting Customer Contact and when the notification is sent would allow staff time to finish physical processing before patrons get the notification.

Ability to suspend patron from loans while still allowing requests for article copies.
We have users who cannot be trusted with book loans, but I still want them to be able to request articles. I'd like a way to block loans but not articles.

Eliminate extranneous shipping labels for multi-piece loan transactions
For Lending Loan Shipping Labels, and Borrowing Return Shipping Labels, we only need ONE shipping label per transaction. As is, if we ship a 4-volume set under one transaction number, we get 4 shipping labels. This means that each time we print, we either have to discard extra labels, or take the time to delete the extra labels from the print document.

Installing : Default "unchecked" for opening SQL Manager for small point releases
Would anyone else like to avoid this when doing "small point" updates to clients?
When we have small point updates for ILLiad the last step in the process opens the SQL Manager window, unless you uncheck a box on the “Finish” screen, it also (sometimes) does not replace the ILLiad icon on the Taskbar.
For larger updates, full versions, ILLiad usually has a script that skips (or pre-unchecks) that box and also replaces the icon on the Taskbar.
In cases here, the SQL Manager window opened and not everyone knows what to do with that (some staff, students are thrown…
