add "go to date" or "select date" have a button that allows staff to drop down a date menu to go to specific dates without have to click the backward or forward arrows.

For full day appointments, if user attempts to schedule for date available but appointment time has passed, show appropriate notification If reading room allows for all day appointment, say 10am - 5pm, and a user attempts to book for the next available day (min lead day), date appears to be availalble but is not. Full day should be greyed out in this case.

Opening a request should not affect transaction "Changed Date" if nothing changes with request When a staff member opens a transaction record to view, it should not be logged in the history as an update unless something has been edited within the request. Having the transaction date adjusted for every time a request is opened and looked at is misleading and messes up the ability to track request changes properly.

Create addon to add an expiration date to a queue and automatically route requests once the date parameter has passed In the staff client, requests in the Item on Hold queue have no expiration, but most sites allow holds for 1-2 weeks. Create an addon that allows site to determine queue and number of days for requests to stay in that queue. When the number of days has elapsed, automatically route the request to another queue. EX: if a request is in Item on Hold and is allowed to be on hold for 2 weeks, set expiration for 14 days. When 14 days has passed, automatically route the request to Remove from Hold so staff can reshelve.

Adjust user expiration process to automatically update the user's expiration date when they submit ChangeUserInformation or ExpiredUsers This should not be dependent on the AutoUpdateExpiration key. Many sites want users to expire yearly in order to reagree to reading room policies but do not want the user's expiration date to update anytime the user submits ChangeUserInformation, as that would bypass set user expiration.

Aeon Fulfillment Plugin for ArchivesSpace PUI - Creation date should be pulled from Start/End Date fields Currently, when requesting from the ArchivesSpace PUI, the ASpace <#creationdate> mapping is pulling from the Expression field in the Dates sub-record. The University of Baltimore does not use this field usually (and this is true of other archives), so the ItemDate field in Aeon is not getting populated. They would like for the <#creationdate> to pull from the Start/End Date fields, or, if possible, pull from the dates info that is displaying in the component record on the PUI side.

Allow users to select multiple dates/date spans in the Aeon appointment calendar We desperately need for users to be able to choose more than one date on the calendar via a single request form. For researchers visiting for one week, for example, we would like them to be able to select their needed materials (from a finding aid, for example), and then be able to select the entire week they propose to visit, as opposed to having to submit a form for each day they want to visit (what if they are viewing one large collection for that entire week, for example - now they have to submit a form for each…

Permit scheduling of recurring Web Alerts We want to schedule our "Reminder: no paging on Saturdays" web alert to display on Fridays and Saturdays only. Currently, we have to move the Active Date and Expiration Date by hand each week.

Display creation date field in user record in the staff client The University of Arkansas would like for the creation date of when the patron user record is created to display on the Details tab in the user record. Right now, this field is only available for view in the user search results grid. It is not explicitly shown in the history tab, either. If the site is using the New User Email, they can infer the creation date from when that email is sent in the email history, but if they are not using the system New User Email template, there is no other way from the user record itself…

Add a 'Do not ask again' checkbox to the Aeon client update dialog Some sites are required to have all client updates performed by IT staff, which must be scheduled in most cases. It would be nice to have an option to disable to update prompt in such cases so that staff are no longer prompted.

Create separate key for min lead days for request, separate from min lead days for appointment Allow staff to set a min lead days for when an appointment should be scheduled and a separate min lead days for when any associated requests should be scheduled.

Schedule Staff Notifications in Aeon Client We have recently been thinking about how we can improve our staff communications in the Reading Room. We often have instances where staff need to be alerted to special arrangements, updates or events in the Reading Room in a timely manner.
It occurred to me that the functionality we are looking for is much like that available in the Aeon system when alert pop-ups occur for new requests for processing and users waiting to be cleared.
It would be ideal if editable alerts could be scheduled so that when staff log in to the Aeon Client, a pop-up…

Enable Recurring Appointments Some of our researchers are requesting recurring appointments in our Reading Room, but we currently have to create a separate appointment for each individual date. It would be so helpful to be able to schedule those appointments all at once!

Create deadline for submitting requests to an activity I'd like to close an activity for additional submissions from nonstaff by a certain date. That way I would have adequate time to pull materials and don't need to constantly monitor activities to see if faculty or students added items.

Add the ability to clone appointments to other dates through the staff client I find that it can be helpful to clone previous appointments to a patron, with the adjustment of expected appointment date. This can save steps vs creating a new from scratch.

Hide past appointments in appointment dropdown on request form in the client In the appointment dropdowns in the client, all appointments display with the oldest at the top. Past appointments (prior to the current date) should be hidden so staff only choose from future appointments.

Set how long before end of day last appointment can be scheduled BPL's reading room is open from 9:30am to 4:30pm and allows 30 minute appointments. However, to allow time for registration,we would like all appointments to begin before 4pm, so that a researcher cannot make an appointment for 4pm-4:30pm.
It would be helpful if there was another appointment key for end of day padding, i.e., how long before the end of day an appointment can begin, while still allowing appointments to end at our closing time
