Allow patrons to remove tags from multiple requests at once via web I was thinking something like the Approve Orders table where patrons could click one or multiple checkboxes from the table (the one they view when they click the tag link from the main menu) and click a "remove tag" button.

Fix Aeon Emails Getting Flagged as Spam At the Schlesinger Library, we are experiencing an issue with emails sent via Aeon getting flagged and routed to spam folders. We use the email function in Aeon to send out our confirmation emails, so having the emails get marked as spam causes problems for both staff and users.

Add key or other functionality to prevent creation of an appointment without an associated request in the web interface Currently, the New Appointment button can be removed from ViewAppointments.html to prevent patrons from scheduling an appointment without submitting a request. However, when creating a request, the patron can schedule an appointment and then choose not to submit the request. This creates an appointment without any associated transactions. This setting should be appointment reading room specific.

Create list view to see current transaction status Staff would like the ability to scan single or multiple Transaction Numbers to view a list (in grid form) of requests in their current status. Similar to the batch process, staff would scan the TNs or enter a list (copy from clipboard should be an option) and have Aeon show a list in a customizable grid of requests with current transaction status. Then staff should be able to manage those requests as a batch or individually.

Ping the endpoint service periodically to keep the connection active. We use a homegrown request tool for our EAD guides and we run into an issue where, after a period of inactivity, the connection is lost and so our request tool cannot communicate with Aeon. There does not seem to be a good way to "poke" the server to reestablish the connection. Sometimes the issues lasts a moment, sometimes it persists for 10-15 minutes, meaning our users cannot easily submit requests.

Aeon calendar - seat locations by status Would it be possible to have Aeon calendar seat locations be available/manageable by user status? So for example, if there were 6 seats available for the public, but two additional seats only available for staff or fellows, could that be configured so those additional seats could be booked only by users with the selected statuses?

Sticky Flag Queues Hello,
We use the "Deliver to Reading Room" flag, and each time the queue is emptied and a user logs back into Aeon, the "Requests" queue section that includes the "Deliver to Reading Room" queue reverts to it's original order in the list of queue categories. It would be great if it could stick to the spot where the Aeon user has moved it.3 votes -
Deliver to Reading Room Flag It would be great if the "Deliver to Reading Room" flag was automatically removed from a request when the request was moved to the "Checked Out" status.

Aeon Appointments: Add a way to handle schedule changes in advance Ex: We are going to have renovations this summer and we will shift the Wednesday hours from 11-6, with lunch recess from 1-2 to 10am-5pm with lunch from 12-1. I want to only change the calendar for the 3 months of summer. My concern is that if I change the official reading room schedule it will impact the availability in the fall and other people planning their future visits to the library outside of our altered summer schedule.
The only current workaround for this is to update the open hours and then create exceptions for all dates that do not currently fit that schedule. This is onerous…

Photoduplication - block requests once a patron has reached a page limit From the University of Tulsa: Some of our collections contain huge troves of unpublished manuscripts, which has caused issues with copyright violations. Patrons can request scans of up to 200 pages from a single collection in a 6-month period. Is there a feature that will help us automate that policy? Flagging accounts, or blocking those requests from going through once the system records that a patron has successfully received a certain page count, or even stopping the request before it goes to submission?

Notification when closing Aeon if users are still signed into a reading room Sometimes people forget to sign users out of the reading room at the end of the day, due to various factors. Would it be possible to have a pop-up notification that appears when the Aeon application is being closed, saying 'there are still users signed into the reading room'? This way, staff will be reminded to sign those users out before closing Aeon at the end of the day.

Merging users: ability to key in letters to find user records or search for names If I am not mistaken, the Merge Users function appears to require me to scroll through two (very long, in our case) lists of accounts, and click "Merge" only after having highlighted the duplicate accounts -- one on the left side and one on the right.
It's time consuming to do this -- so maybe there could be a search bar at the top of both lists, where you can enter the first few letters of any given names.
And/or: you could have the ability to enter the first few letters of the name to bring you to that record.…

Appointments that are invalid for selection based on MinLeadDays shouldn't be selectable when creating new requests Currently, if a request is submitted for an appointment within the MinLeadDays on EADRequest, the request is submitted to Awaiting User Review, without indication to the patron that they cannot request for the selected appointment. Aeon should not allow users to submit requests for appointments that are within the MinLeadDays.

Remove display of culturally insensitive color names The Aeon options menu includes choices to change the color of the search display when users are disavowed, blocked, or anonymous. The color picker menu includes colors with culturally insensitive names. Aeon should use an alternate color picker menu with hex colors.
