  2. Would like an email notification from Aeon when a patron has paid for an order

    Georgia State University is using TouchNet to allow patrons to pay for orders via credit card. It is not enough of a notification that the order status changes to “Awaiting Item Delivery,” as there will be multiple orders in that queue at a time, including for patrons who weren’t charged, as well as pending file delivery from vendors. It’s difficult to understand which requests are new from TouchNet payments. They would ideally like for Aeon to send an email notification, or at least display some kind of flag on the Aeon client.   3. Create separate key for request limits for activities

    Allow sites to set request limits for activities, separate from the user's request limit. Would also like to limit requests by location (room/space used for activity).

  4. Allow appointments to be set for certain days only while leaving other days open for scheduling via scheduled date

    Allow more nuance in appointment configuration to set some days as appointment-only and allow other days to still be open by scheduled date or not require an appointment.

  5. Modify Long Text custom fields to truly be Long Text

    The new custom fields are fantastic, with one exception: the Long Text field is still limited to 255 characters.

    Ideally, this limit would be removed and the Long Text field would be NVARCHAR(MAX).

    At the risk of saying "well, that's easy," having a "LongText NVARCHAR(MAX)" field definition in the CustomFieldValues table seems reasonable enough.

  6. Ability for users to view and print past (paid) invoices, and staff to print statement of paid invoices via the client.

    When a user wants a statement of paid invoices for reimbursement from their institution or other issues, there's no great way to get that for them once the orders are paid and delivered. We have to manually go in and resend each paid invoice, or they have to go into each separate transaction/order.

  7. Add the ability to schedule partial closures

    Add the ability to schedule partial closures within the customization manager. Because of instruction held frequently in the reading room, I would like to be able to block requesting for specific blocks of time within a day, for example, from 1:00-2:30.

    It would be useful to add the notifications related to a single TN to the TN detail page. Patrons could more easily correlate the notifications with the TN.

  10. When printing callslips from the Activity form, print callslips for all requests awaiting processing, even those in custom queues

    We have a few custom Awaiting Activity Processing queues, but when we print callslips for all requests awaiting processing, only callslips for the requests in the default Awaiting Activity Processing queue print. We would like all requests in a queue with the State of Awaiting Activity Processing to print.

  11. Permit scheduling of recurring Web Alerts

    We want to schedule our "Reminder: no paging on Saturdays" web alert to display on Fridays and Saturdays only. Currently, we have to move the Active Date and Expiration Date by hand each week.

  12. Populate scheduled date as current date on New Request form in client.

    Currently, when a staff person clicks the New Request for User button in the Aeon Staff Client (from a user record), the scheduled date field is blank. Most sites require this field for a request and find it would be useful to have this field populate when requests are submitted in the client, as well.

  18. Allow patrons to remove tags from multiple requests at once via web

    I was thinking something like the Approve Orders table where patrons could click one or multiple checkboxes from the table (the one they view when they click the tag link from the main menu) and click a "remove tag" button.

  20. Create list view to see current transaction status

    Staff would like the ability to scan single or multiple Transaction Numbers to view a list (in grid form) of requests in their current status. Similar to the batch process, staff would scan the TNs or enter a list (copy from clipboard should be an option) and have Aeon show a list in a customizable grid of requests with current transaction status. Then staff should be able to manage those requests as a batch or individually.
