Data entry space for "Bill to" information as well as "Send to" or "Ordered by" info. How many sites would want/need this?

Make certain drop down fields select only (doesn't allow typing a value) If the location value desired is not there, staff are typing in a value versus correcting the drop down list.

Add key or other functionality to prevent creation of an appointment without an associated request in the web interface Currently, the New Appointment button can be removed from ViewAppointments.html to prevent patrons from scheduling an appointment without submitting a request. However, when creating a request, the patron can schedule an appointment and then choose not to submit the request. This creates an appointment without any associated transactions. This setting should be appointment reading room specific.

Add Appointments table to custom search Appointment should be searchable from Transactions and Users custom searches. OR there should be an additional Appointment-specific custom search.

Allow patrons option to view password during password creation on registration form The University of Washington would like for the patron to be able to view the password, if desired - i.e., "eyelid" toggle icon, while creating the password on the registration page. This way, they can catch any errors when they have to enter their password twice, instead of starting over if there is a password character mismatch.

Deliver to Reading Room Flag It would be great if the "Deliver to Reading Room" flag was automatically removed from a request when the request was moved to the "Checked Out" status.

Photoduplication - block requests once a patron has reached a page limit From the University of Tulsa: Some of our collections contain huge troves of unpublished manuscripts, which has caused issues with copyright violations. Patrons can request scans of up to 200 pages from a single collection in a 6-month period. Is there a feature that will help us automate that policy? Flagging accounts, or blocking those requests from going through once the system records that a patron has successfully received a certain page count, or even stopping the request before it goes to submission?

Allow reading rooms to be reordered in Appointment Scheduling tab The order in which reading rooms are created dictates how they display in the Reading Room dropdown on the web pages. Add support to drag the reading rooms to change the display order.

Ability to verify valid email addresses when patrons register Boston Public Library would like to make sure that patrons add a valid, working email address when registering in Aeon. This goes beyond web validation for email address formatting; they would like for Aeon to be able to send an email validation to the patron to confirm that it is their email address.

Add the ability to clone appointments to other dates through the staff client I find that it can be helpful to clone previous appointments to a patron, with the adjustment of expected appointment date. This can save steps vs creating a new from scratch.

Segmented request limits, per location For sites with multiple sites, it would be great to set segmented request limits per location instead of one shared request limit across all locations.

Would like an email notification from Aeon when a patron has paid for an order Georgia State University is using TouchNet to allow patrons to pay for orders via credit card. It is not enough of a notification that the order status changes to “Awaiting Item Delivery,” as there will be multiple orders in that queue at a time, including for patrons who weren’t charged, as well as pending file delivery from vendors. It’s difficult to understand which requests are new from TouchNet payments. They would ideally like for Aeon to send an email notification, or at least display some kind of flag on the Aeon client. For now, they are looking into TouchNet to…

Create separate key for request limits for activities Allow sites to set request limits for activities, separate from the user's request limit. Would also like to limit requests by location (room/space used for activity).

Allow appointments to be set for certain days only while leaving other days open for scheduling via scheduled date Allow more nuance in appointment configuration to set some days as appointment-only and allow other days to still be open by scheduled date or not require an appointment.

Modify Long Text custom fields to truly be Long Text The new custom fields are fantastic, with one exception: the Long Text field is still limited to 255 characters.
Ideally, this limit would be removed and the Long Text field would be NVARCHAR(MAX).
At the risk of saying "well, that's easy," having a "LongText NVARCHAR(MAX)" field definition in the CustomFieldValues table seems reasonable enough.

Allow one request to have associated Activities, Appointments, etc If a Transaction could be turned into a Parent transaction or some such thing, it would be helpful for associating one request with multiple activities, appointments, etc

Add the ability to schedule partial closures Add the ability to schedule partial closures within the customization manager. Because of instruction held frequently in the reading room, I would like to be able to block requesting for specific blocks of time within a day, for example, from 1:00-2:30.

View notifications from transaction details on web It would be useful to add the notifications related to a single TN to the TN detail page. Patrons could more easily correlate the notifications with the TN.
